Yes, but read to the end where he contradicts himself by quantifying Radiohead's place in his opinion---not in the top 200 artists in terms of time he's spent listening to them---and where he calls himself a "music snob with excellent tastes" thereby asserting himself as an expert of sorts, in an, albeit more subtle, yet still "arrogant" way.... People seek to rank and quantify even the most subjective of things, its simply in our nature. If we calculate by pure commercial success, then we are more clearly faced with Ces's popularity without familiarity argument....

Was looking for this...also, not my favorite but should be in the conversation, is Dave Matthews band. As far as hip-hop, gotta consider The Roots, but they will need a few more albums to be in the conversation. As far as hippie jam-band shit, Phish.
