  1. October 25th Debate.

    http://www.youtube.com/user/CSPANJUN.../2/O9tnXpB8he4

    Minute 11:02

Presidents Obama 2 trillion dollar deficit. The facts are the deficit is 100% the result of president Bush and Reagans unfunded spending and tax cuts. Bush started with a 2.1 trillion budget and left with a 3 trillion budget (with no new revenues). When the economy was in expansion we were still running deficits. Clinton left with a surplus, in expansion, he did so with pay as you go and cutting government. To blame Obama for $2 trillion in debt, is not even factual, Obamas 1st budget year just ended September 30, 2010. Cutting 0.3 trillion off the deficit he inherited. Listen to the anger in his voice.

So he is against cap and trade (does he believe in global warming), abortion (even in cases or rape and incest), end and reduce mine safety regulations (ever wonder why overall our mines are so safe), supports a flat tax to simplify the regulations (why not just eliminate capital gains, all deductions, all exemptions, and all credits. Figuring out your tax bracket is not hard), 77,000 rebate checks were sent to dead people (500,000 people die every month), he was against the bank bailout (that Bush signed and the banks have already paid back - and probably saved complete collapse of stocks and economy), supports coal (over solar?).

We only elect a senate on the moon. We are human, and vote via computer. We are not members of the United States, however the #1 comedy show is CSPAN. We all get drunk and bet when the USA is going to destroy itself. We are waiting for the ashes so we can go down and buy the whole thing on the cheap, it will make a nice park.

  7. LOL facts just get in the way and if the Tea party argued based on facts they would lose. They don't want to hear the truth, it gets in the way of how they think the world should be instead of the facts about how the world really is. The debates are more entertaining than they are informative and hardly change anyone's mind. Thanks for posting the facts about the truth on why this country is in a deep hole, but the truth and facts won't change many minds. It does start a good debate in OT which I do enjoy reading becuase sometimes the guys on the otherside have very good points.

  8. Jaybear, why are you so convinced that THESE are the facts? Just curious.

BTW, I don't get the argument in the OP. If Clinton left with a surplus (he did) then how could anything that happened before Clinton impact Obama's budget in any way?

Also, Obama could have used fuzzy math like this when he was pushing Obamacare thru. A+++ on the misleading scale imo.

  9. lately, ive heard lot of #'s usually given by liberals and then heard conservatives saying these #'s are always incorrect. where do people get the factual #'s?

  10. I liked clinton as a President but c'mon man. Mickey Mouse could ave been president during the internet boom. No more cold war to spend money on, no major conflicts. Like I said I like Clinton but a lot of different factors go in to what you're talking about.

Edit: You also forget to mention Clinton's largest decrease came when republicans controlled the house and senate and Bush's larget increase came when Democrats held both the house and senate.
