    If you can die for your country at 18 years old....why cant you drink in your country at 18?

    Seems pretty dumb to me.

    good question.

    If I were you, I would find out what Presidential canidate is for lowering the drinking age based on this. I would then vote for him/her.

    I think that could possibly be considered a fallacy because one has to do with legal adulthood while the other has to do with a maturity age I suppose..like saying "if I can drive at 16 why cant I fight for my country at 16?"
