Randy Moss had another great game. On his way to the first 2,000 receiving yard season in NFL history.
week 1: 5 rec 130 yds 1 td
week 2: 5 rec 127 yds 1 td
Daunte Culpepper on the other hand...
week 1: 0 tds 3 ints
week 2: 0 tds 5 ints
I guess the Vikings f'd up -
randy moss is the best pure reciever god ever created......and no i have not forgot about that guy named rice.........the vikings and mr. culpepper however miss there offensive coordinator more than they miss randy moss........anyway im pulling for randy to get his 2000 yd. season.....for that matter t.o. is haveing a monster season also
-
holy shit man, we know he is good calm down. Your getting ridiculous now.
-
here we go ...... more randy is better than rice BullShit !!!!!!
-
Cmon guys we have to give him something to hold on to, the guy's getting TORTURED on sports betting, let's just rip on him for that. If you see the words, "Moss" and "Oddman", you know what the context is going to be seeing that he's already posted up like 65 gajillion of these threads already.
-
The funny thing about the above post is it compares Moss and Culpepper and their differences in production this year, yet, both teams are 0-2 to start the year. Who gives a fuck what stats Moss puts up if the Raiders keep losing. They should be scoring more than 17 points with that offense. Rice was able to dominate the game, win at the same time, and change certain aspects of defenses that still hold today. At this point...Rice hands down.
-
Moss had 2 100+ games in a row!!!! OMG!!!!!
-
BOTTOM LINE....
Raider 0-2 !!!!!
he could catch 200yds + per game, if they dont win it dont matter
iloveparis -
I for one hopes he continues his torrid pace, as I have him on my fantasy team.
-
How many superbowl championships do Moss, Harrison and TO have combined????? give up? how about zero........in a salary capped league you cant give these guys 80 million dollar contracts, with $20 million signing bonuses and expect to have that many OTHER good players
give me a good quarterback, an O-line and a defense and you'll win. -
Ok, but what sense did that make? Are you telling me Harrison isn't on a team with many other good players? Manning, James, Wayne, their entire D line? A solid O line? I just gave you the best quarterback, a solid O-line, and a much improved defense....
TO isn't sucking down a lot of the Eagles salary cap room. The Eagles are built to last.
Moss, different story. That team is poo. -
Biggun,
ok, Indy go win the superbowl, go ahead, but they will need to win 15 games, and have all the playoff games at home... I need more than 2 games to tell me Indy has a good defense, sorry...............jacksonville is not that good offensively, we all know that, and Baltimore is 1 of the 3 worst offensive teams in the league...........
And as for receivers, I'm making more of a general statement....the league and many of these so called "experts" make the biggest deal about acquiring these playmakers but they don't produce superbowls......its just not that important to the "best" receivers in the league on your team.
Agreed about TO, there team is 10 pts better than anyone else in the NFC (besides maybe Carolina) with or without him. -
might want to add Atlanta to that mix, it has only been a week.
Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce seemed to do well.
Just b/c there is a dynasty in the NFL right now w/o a top 10 receiver doesn't mean anything. I'll take a playmaker on my team anyday of the week. -
In reality Oakland should be 1-1 right now. Also I think Oakland forgot they had Randy Moss on thier team the whole fourth quarter WTF was up with that? If there is anywhere Moss should have ended up its Oakland they have thrived with entire teams made up of cancers.
-
Not sure if anyone else has seen NE's schedule, but Indy's chances to win the AFC and get home field throughout this year look good. It may only be 2 games regarding Indy's D, but you can't argue that they have a sick D line and are much improved in relation to last year.
NE's next 6 games...
@ Pittsburgh
San Diego
@ Atlanta
@ Denver
Buffalo
Indy -
Dont forget about Pittsburg. Although Indy has an easier schedule (they play NFC West teams)
-
I bet Oddman already has one to wear during all the Raider games...
http://www.mosstv.com/rmoss/mask.html -
get off mosses nuts.
-
Well Oakland should be 1-1 if it weren't for that bs pass interference call. Seriously i saw that replay 2,000 times and Moss didn't even touch him. And i'm goin to get that mask and rob a bank with it. People are gonna be like Randy Moss robbed the bank. lmao jk
-
oddman, I use to LIKE randy moss but now after you played him out I can no longer watch his games without fucking yorking. thanks.
-
Oddman has no arguement about Moss being the best ever...we all know he's wrong, just let him rant and not respond to his posts. Or make fun of him, whatever works.
-Jonny -
I will bet my house that Randy Moss will either have the recieving yard record, td record or both.
-
you already lost it on the rams.
-
I think Moss is a great player, maybe even the greatest. With his stats at this age he's well on his way. The Vikings made a huge mistake getting rid of him. Now they're stuck with recievers like Koren "Cantcatchathing" Robinson and Travis "Trickyhands" Taylor.

RANDY MOSS IS THE GREATEST EVER........RICE WHO?

Randy Moss may well end his career having broken quite a few of Jerry Rice's records. He almost certainly has the talent to end as the most dominant receiver in NFL history. Does he have the discipline required to live up to his potential? Perhaps, perhaps not.
To call him a better player, right now, than Jerry Rice was demonstrates an ignorance of football history. I doubt very much that even Randy Moss would make such an outlandish statement about his career.
Jerry Rice piled up successful numbers throughout a long career without the blazing speed of Randy Moss, without Moss' obvious physical advantages over those attempting to defend his opportunities to catch the football, etc. Jerry Rice was for years considered the hardest-working man in football. His off-season training regimen was legendary. Other receivers in the National Football League speak his name in the same hushed tones reserved for players like Unitas, Payton, Montana. Randy Moss doesn't get that treatment, at least not yet. His talents are undeniable, but his future success will hinge on his ability to overcome his obvious immaturity.
