hey guys,
haven't posted here in a while but needless to say i have been watching from a far.
me and the old ball and chain are going for a holiday to new yoik on the 10th feb and i was just wondering about the rangers game tickets for the 2/11 (against washington)
the tickets are quite pricey for bad tickets, like in the very upper stalls. (i am figuring as a brit that my puck watching skills will be sub par therefore these tickets might not be best). are there big screens and stuff?
i'm basically just wondering what the best way to play this is. i've been looking on ebay but don't mind getting tickets off touts outside if that's a viable option???
also, is there any other cool stuff you can think i should do that may not be on the tourist guides, and ultimately, does teddy KGB's joint really exist and can i go and play him heads up, tables stakes, until one of us has it all?
thanks for any input,
TWM. -
it wasnt supposed to be funny, yet i laughed throughout

Blimey, Gov'na! Don't worry a lick about your seats, mate! You'll see everything on the big telly!

If your going to sit in the blue seats (The 400 Section) try to sit in the Center Ice area if you can.. Same with the 300 section as well. You sit in the corners you can see the puck when it goes in your corner.
Check StubHub.. Rangers Tickets are expensive anyway.. Also check Rangers ticket exchange.
I checked Stuhub. There is a pair on StubHub that I would buy If I was going.. First row of the Blue Seats so no one is in front of you. Plus its center ice. They have pairs a bit cheaper in the 300 level but they are behind the goal and like I said some parts of game you cant see..

The garden is a shitty shitty place to watch a hockey game.
-
The Caps even gave them a 4 goal lead last time just to make it entertaining.
-
as afink said, def try to get seats closer to the center of the arena as opposed to the corners. The good thing about MSG is that part of the fun is just being there in a sold out arena (unlike in NJ or Islander games) If you are really concerned with your seats its going to cost a bit of money (I have season tickets in the 300s that are face almost 60/seat, so you can see better seats will be pricey)
just keep checking ebay/stubhub/ranger ticket exchange. you may be better off the closer to game day you get, people usually will just try to unload their seats if they cant go to the game to avoid eating the cost all together -
