    After seeing SBJohn declare the Yankees a lock, and a few other MLB picks on the forum today, I've decided to go ahead and post my lock for the day: the D'Backs at home over the Reds.

    Right now, wagerline.com has the Reds -106 and the D'Backs -102. But in honor of platinument and my confidence in this pick, I'll give any OT member with a min of 250 posts, the Reds at +200 until 9:30EST.

    Min. wager is $10 and max $100, and I will stop taking offers if I reach $1000 in total action. Please PM me to confirm action, all accepted wagers will be listed below.

    Edit: Alright well I'm gonna hold off on this until I'm back at home and can put the money upfront. I've been posting regularly here for the last 6 months, but not too many people know who I am. I kinda hoped doing something like this would get me on the map, so to speak, but I can understand nobody wants to get scammed. But I will make this offer again soon and it will probably be for a Cubs game. The D'Backs win tonight's game easily though.

    Hmmmmm, not sure where to go from here. I'm in California right now and have been using a public computer all week. I've tried to download stars on it but the computer is set up to block downloads.

    Maybe I will cancel this and do it again next week when the money can be held by somebody else. Not sure what else I can say except that 2K really isn't all that much money to me, and I really just wanted to do something to get my name out there as a real OT'er. But lemme know what you guys think.

    Anything happening on this? Ive gotta head out for a few minutes. If Trues and IllFlu take the bet then I am down for $10.

    Why dont you hold Trues? I dont think any of us would have a problem with that. 3rd party guys could be Waco or Chaz?

    I wont accuse you of anything. I do think its in quite bad taste to offer a bet and be unwilling/unable to put up the money on your end prior to the bet.

    I'm back in town tomorrow night. Would pay out via stars or FT.

    I don't really want to get into a cock measuring contest or anything, but I've been a succesful live cash game player for the last 18 months, and have 50K+ to my name. Putting up the 2 grand if I lost wouldn't be a big deal. I love to gamble and I love OT, and just wish I was a little better known around here. I figured win or lose this bet, that would help.

    Anyways, I'll make a very similiar offer in the next 2 weeks when I find a game I like, and will put the money upfront. It's really not a big deal to me. I just don't want anybody to think I was trying to screw people.

    I doubt he was trying to screw anyone, he was in on the Tiger Woods bet and lost and paid but let us know next time.

    No pissing match here. My bet was only $10 so frankly I dont care. As ill said, you really should have let us know. I'll still take the bet for 10 bucks as I'd like to have an interest in a game tonight. I'll pm you, hopfully you're still around.

    he actually hasn't paid me yet but was in good communication with me before he bet and after tiger lost and told me up front he was out of town until this week and couldn't get squared with me until he was back, he stated this on friday night to me, I'll make a post when he pays me.
