    I have friends in Tucson who are trying to get people from up here to go down to that to help set up a human barrier to prevent Westboro fucking idiots from getting close to the funeral.

    Probably true (hope so). It is only a matter of time before one of these protests hits home with someone fully capable with nothing to lose, that is motivated enough to do something about it.

    I'd show up w/ my motorcycle and rev the engine really loudly while flipping them off. I think there's a group of riders that do this (minus the flipping off part) to drown out the sound of their word vomit.

    I don't hate free speech. I hate classless people who have absolutely no concern whatsoever fpr the pain and loss of others and use their personal tragedy to make some kind of ridiculous point. They certainly have a right to protest, but that doesn't make the time and place they're choosing to do it appropriate. It's sick and cruel, really.

    If I thought I had the self control to not take some of these fuckers to the ground and beat them to their funeral, I would go. But sadly, I'm 90% sure I'd end up in handcuffs at one point.
