    It's been awhile since I've posted here, I've been busy opening my cupcake and ice cream shop. It took 7 months to open from the time I signed the lease. Thank God I got three free months when I signed the lease! Why did it take so long to open?

    Building inspections took 3 months.

    Health department inspections took a month and a half.

    It took one month for the frigging gas company to get natural gas into my shop!!!

    I still don't have a web site up and we've been open for almost three weeks. Things are going ok so far. I'm still changing recipes and tweaking the menu. The cupcake sundaes are amazing!

    We have 4 kinds of cupcakes.

    Ten flavors of ice cream.

    And the same hot dogs that Pink's sells, but our chili is amazing! I tried about 6 or 7 chili's before settling.

    Gank came by the shop before we opened, what's up my brother?

    I'm on the corner of La brea and Sunset in Hollywood.

    The name of my biz is ROCK N ROLL CUPCAKES.

    I'm near guitar center, close to Rock N Roll Ralphs, Rock N Roll Denny's is opening up across the street in a couple months.

    Try my keylime cupcake called, SWEET CHILD OF LIME! Its delicious.

    Julia Roberts has been to the shop twice.

    Kevin Smith has been by once.

    Some dude from the show GLEE comes by often, don't know his name.

    Sorry to ramble but I'm home on a quick break.

    I'll have the Sunset web cam up soon.

    I hire three cool rocker girls to work the shop. I do some of the baking, I prepare the sundaes and hot dogs, I take orders, etc, but the girls mainly deal with the public.

    We do have red velvet, we called it RED VELVET UNDERGROUND.

    :-)

    It has our amazing cream cheese frosting, its not too sweet but its really creamy.

    We're open from noon til 10pm daily.

    Come by and have a CUPCAKE SUNDAE!!!

    Cupcake of your choice

    Ice cream of your choice

    Either hot fudge or caramel dripped over the cupcake and ice cream, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkles!!!!

    There are so so so so many hot girls walking by my shop all day its RIDICULOUS!

    She looked really good. I didn't know it was her at first cause she had sunglasses, her sister came to our window to order, my shop is tiny so employees only inside, I installed a walk up window. Anyway, Julia's sister is at the window, her Range Rover was parked bout 15 feet away. Sister yell's JULIA, what do you want?

    Julia takes off glasses and says, WHAT DO THEY HAVE?

    That's when I knew it was the PRETTY WOMAN!!!

    hah no problem. should be a hot trend on the spoon by morning. fb'd it up as well, so all my burnt out rock n rolla's will prolly be stroll'n threw to get the kids and wifes a fix :)

    i will expect a nice paddy cake sesh with the cup cake girls next time im in town tho...

    i guess the only drawback is not having a shop big enough for people to come inside but hey if thats the worst of your problems you'll be just fine.

    I have a nice big patio with tables and chairs right outside my walkup window. We blast music all day and night.

    The patio was built for me. The area used to be a big bunch of bushes.

    Already been there. I don't think you were working when I stopped in - at least I didn't see any dudes there at the time. The key lime one was excellent and I'll be back again. Good place, man!
