parv had no clue danielle was getting chopped. they all have faults.
-
air date isn't a guarantee that the contestants didn't get to see the season. it's available way before it airs to CBS insiders. i'd think they'd allow all stars to view it before it airs to make things even. all stars won't blab because they would lose their spot in the current season if caught
-
I basically picked Sandra to win pretty much soley for the fact that they'd make the F3 w/ Parv and Russell. I can't see Colby making the F3 at all- BUT if he somehow wakes up and does, would his only chance to win be vs Parv/Russell, rather than vs Sandra/Russell?
(Def. longshot, I know) Russell can't want Parvati to go to F3 with him, as she's his biggest threat, obv. I'd think the only was Russell could possibly win were if he made final 3 with Terri and Colby. Can't foresee that case scenario happening either. It'd be interesting though, in any case. -
If I'm not mistaken, they filmed the current season almost immediately after Samoa. Who can say if CBS allowed the contestants to watch it before filming. It wouldn't be in the best interest of CBS, as Russell equals ratings.

5 minutes til airtime! -
they may have. they may not have. i'm just saying no one knows whether this season was left in the dark or not.
-
I think any logical player would have voted him out immed. if they had seen his season.
Not to mention laugh in his grill when he came with a 'final 3' deal -
that was a sick final challenge.... can't believe how close all 3 of them were

Really puzzling move there by Russell to keep Parv over Jerri. Don't think he was going to win either way, but you'd have to think Parv is a bigger jury threat than Jerri. I assume this means he's going to put all his eggs in the "both of these two have won before" basket. It actually could be an interesting strategy if argued correctly (basically you have some people on the jury, both heroes and villains, who like to think they're some of the greatest survivors of all time. do you really want to have a part in selecting the first two-time winner and basically solidify parv or sandra as someone "greater" than you?). I don't really think Russell will argue it that way, though.
I've been calling a Sandra win for a few months now, so I won't change my vote. Hope it's one of the other two for entertainment sake, though. Should be an interesting final tribal council. -
Anything can happen with Candice Woodcock on the jury
-
ugh, Rupert is so dumb...and it's so annoying how holier than thou his attitude is.
It's a game for God's sake, a game based around lying. He's acting like Russell killed his dog or something. -
Russell is about to get the shaft again
-
As expected, the jury is a bunch of self-righteous shmucks.
-
I'd like to stab Rupert. It's a shame Russell can't win.
-
Agreed, but it was expected. Most people here might think Russell is the best Survivor player ever, but 9 people on that jury sure think he's Richard + Jonny Fairplay x 1000.

5 minutes until the reveal. The jury has already told you who's gonna win. -
Russell is terrible at arguing his case though.
He should have said, yah, Sandra tried to get me voted out 3 times. She failed. If I had tried to get her voted out once, she'd be gone. -
Coat tails is the best way to win Survivor remember that if you ever go on the show.
-
The thing is, in Russells mind he is fine. Its a game to him - yes for $1 million, but its a game. He expects it to be cutthroat out there, but once it's over for everyone to realize they are partaking in a game and to use the logic of "if he didnt do this, would he have made it?".

Instead, these jurors are acting as if this is life and death, and (as someone mentioned) Russell killed their pets or something. Its a game ffs, and Russell was the best one ever. It's a shame he won't get the title due to jurors taking everything personally rather than realizing it. -
The jury's attitude is incredibly annoying, but it shouldn't come as a surprise to us watching and especially not to Russell. He lived through this in Samoa, and he didn't change his gameplay to avoid something like this. I've already written novels about Russell's play before so I won't rehash it all again, but yeah. Cliffs: it's an annoying reality of the game, but it's the reality of it nonetheless. I think it was a travesty that he didn't win in Samoa, but I don't think he's being "shafted" this season.

Parvati's looking hot
