Those are the major provisions. Can you think of anything in HCR that is more relevant than what is in that poll? Magnet Steve's complaint about HSA OTC medications?
-
so 27% of the people think its ok for the government to force people to buy private sector products. got it.
-
Quick question.
Ive heard with this, that you are going to be allowed to stay on your parents insurance until you are 26.
When does this take place? -
Know what's funny? If they do attempt to repeal it they will have to find programs to cut since "Obamacare" saves money according to CBO.
Jan. 1 I think? -
Wrong on 26 rule my baddddd
-
btw, is it going to be that easy?
I can just get added to a plan and head to the doctors, dentist, ect the next day? -
What happens to the rest of the plan if purchasing insurance is not mandatory?

How will the reform be paid for?
What about exchanges?
What about the regulations that will implement the bill?
What will it do to the cost of insurance?
Is it still a stepping stone to universal healthcare?
I have a feeling that many of the provisions are interrelated and somewhat dependent on one another, given the complexity of the bill and the amount of intellectualism that it took to create.
The article seems a bit simplistic. -
My comments in bold, which I normally don't like to do, but oh wellz.

How will the reform be paid for? Taxes from lawyers in states with mountains, mostly.
What about exchanges? 2014? I can't remember
What about the regulations that will implement the bill? I have no idea what this question means. How does a regulation implement a bill?
What will it do to the cost of insurance? Insurance prices will go down when the exchanges go online. I am pretty confident of that.
Is it still a stepping stone to universal healthcare? Universal healthcare means everyone is covered (whether by private or public ins), so I think you want this, right? If you meant to say Single Payer, then the answer is no, it is not a stepping stone. That idea is dead, without even bigger legislation that would first kill this legislation.

The article seems a bit simplistic. Simplistic is the new simple, I'm afraid.
