    Interesting choice of words in the title...

    Where was the big outcry when Attorney General Janet Reno fired 93 attorneys? Oh, that's right, there was none.

    While we're on the subject of Nazis, it might be fair to mention the shooting, gassing and burning of 82 people (including children) in Waco, TX under her orders

    Can you imagine the fallout of a hypothetical Gonzales ordered raid on a NAMBLA/hippy/gay/quadsexual commune where 82 of the finest liberals in the country suffered so much as a broken nail? A tragedy like this might get even more coverage than Anna-Nicole.

    WASHINGTON - Last week, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said he was not involved in any discussions about the impending dismissals of U.S. attorneys. On Friday night, however, the Justice Department revealed Gonzales' participation in a Nov. 27 meeting where such plans were discussed.

    Answer me this, if the "truth" behind the firings is that it is relatable to the Reno firings, why would Gonzales lie about his involvement? Why would Republicans speak out against him, knowing full well the Reno situation?

    The answer clearly is, because they are not so simple minded as to tie the 2 situations together because they know there are different circumstances involved and the ones in play here are much more dishonest, and possibly illegal, than the circumstances of the Reno firings. I realize from his posts that Artie is much too stupid to understand the difference between firing someone at the beginning of an administration vs. getting fired mid-term because of the cases you were going to bring about and the people you were about to prosecute, but hopefully the rest of America can understand it.

    I feel sorry for those attorneys though, unskilled labor jobs are tough to come by these days. Poor bastards.

    Janet Reno should have been fired after the events in Waco.

    The title was inspired by an interview I saw Alberto give in which he denied any role in the firings and said that the office was big so he couldnt be expected to know about everything that went on. Additionally, everytime Alberto has appeared to answer questions before Congress, he has made statements which I consider arrogant and his policies are leaning towards facist; thus the nazi reference.

    Why do i get the feeling that the terrorists are laughing their asses off? They are training their kids to suicide bomb buses and markets. While we are finding ways to appease their beliefs.
