where is ud to defend this shit?!?!
-
Rep. Hintz gave some of the best logical and well worded arguements against the bill ( I watched up 15 hours of the debates in addition to being there in person for about 4 hours). He is clearly passionate about this topic, as it hits home with many people in this state. Also, the lack of following the rules of the Assembly as displayed by the Republicans on several occasions in this process has been deplorable. As has the lack of debate throughout the entire 60 hours by Republicans, not even giving their reasons as to why this bill is needed, even when looking at many logical amendments that Democrats had.

With all that said, Hintz was wrong for saying this. I can't defend him. Yelling at the Republicans after they sped through the vote is fine by me, especially as almost 28 of the 96 in the assemply couldn't vote. But saying those kind of words was wrong.
Two wrongs don't make a right, and unfortunately in this whole process both sides have lost basic respect for rules and decorum. -
the truth has no agenda and i dont either... thought it was a funny title that would get both sides to open up the thread.... btw, whoever said this wasnt debated is misinformed and the repubs DID NOT break any rules in the assembly. on top of that, the dems who didnt cast a vote had a chance but they would rather shout and scream than cast a vote..

LOL @ "where is UD to defend this shit?" I take off an hour or two, and the masses can't help but invoking my name. You guys are kind of lost without the MVP aren't you?
Anyway, no defense possible for someone saying that. Completely uncalled for and I expect he will apologize.
As for where I am, I'm in San Francisco at the Game Developer's Conference. Semi-funny story: on the way from the airport I had a very talkative cabbie. He finally got around to asking why I'm in town and I said, "GDC". And he goes, what's that? "Game Developer's Conference." And he looks back at me and says, "Gay Developers?" So, I just smiled and said, "Yep." Nice and quiet for the rest of the ride. I guess it could have gone either way. Probably an EV neutral play. -
It was a win/win either way.
My buddies and I used to have conversations all the time within earshot of annoying people and make them think we were gay. Hilarity ALWAYS ensued somehow.
Of course, we were 17 back then. Hope you had fun!! -
I blame Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow.
-
well, I wouldn't blame them 100% and it goes on with both sides but anyone paying attention knows the left is way more violent and vitriolic (love that word) than the right. When the right does it they are just sticking up for the little guy.
85% percent of the people polled agree. -
Funny how the GOP is getting its ass kicked on this union busting overreach
-
Link? Serious question.
-
I saw a poll that said 60% of the nation was FOR collective bargaining for public workers. I think the dog is right in that way.
-
He might very well be. I was just curious what prompted that statement.

BTW, Walker is a shoe-in for re-election if he wins this battle. If he loses, not so much.
