They moved all RP states to nosebleed seats lol

2, 1 . . . numbered vertically.

because his foreign "policy" is insane, he let people ship his newsletter full of vile racism, he thinks it's 1780, he thinks all of the world's problems are our fault and he keeps mumbling some nonsense about the gold standard (see 1780, or whenevs).
and he hates women (anti-abortion lol)
but most of all because so many of his ideas and positions are correct and yet he is a poison pill. a wackjob espousing good positions only hurts those positions. he is counter-productive immfo -
If he has so many good positions, why do you choose to support a guy that believes in almost none of them?

I am seeing a lot of Ron Paul signs during live coverage and one Ron Paul delegate said he is not being seated because of some new RNC laws which is just going to piss theses guys off.
-
like what?
but the answer is because he has a better shot of stopping the way worse guy.
why would you support a guy who can't win and your vote does nothing to change the status quo as you see it? -
If Romney rolls out there sporting some tight ass cornrows, I'm definitely voting for him.
-
"Boo Hoo, Obama is a bad guy." " Mitt is human, see!!!" "We're going to take back America". "Phyllis Schlaffly is still alive...."
There, I recapped it before it even began. -

cornrows?? oh hell no! All we need is some uppity wannabe b-boy in the White House. I'll be voting for the light-skinned African-American who lacks a Negro dialect (unless he wanted to have one, obv).
@madp: yer doing it wrong, but I appreciate the effort -
How does one change the status quo by voting for a guy who is part of the status quo?
-
just by voting? i dunno.
I would assume if someone wanted viable change they would work within the party that is closest to their views to influence it. stomping their feet in outrage sure doesn't seem to be working.
lol this from the guy who doesn't vote. I mean... -
The answer according to NCJ

CNN had a nice piece on how Mitt saved the Salt Lake City Olympics; one of the dudes said that Mitt is the only person that could have saved it. If that's true that he was the reason the SLC Olympics took place, it's pretty impressive.
Edited By: kellykip Aug 28th, 2012 at 02:16 AM
EDIT: It was Scott Helman, author of The Real Romney that said the Olympics would have been lost if not for Mitt. -
Guam, Samoa, etc etc all have better seats than Maine, Minnesota, Louisiana, Nevada, Oklahoma because they moved all states with paul supporters to the nosebleeds on the outer fringes. They also have "Mitt Romney" chants for when Paul supporters get loud. Amazing how the GOP is more scared of Ron Paul than Iran, and that's saying something
-
lol @ being scared of iran.
-
That Ann Romney is a pretty tasteful morsel.
At the fear of coming across as slightly cocky, I gonna say it anyway: I think I could fuck the MS out of her. -
I didn't kno magnet steve was even in her. wp ms, wp
-
Sigh - the hot blondes always go for the smarter dude.
-
lol you really don't get it. lay off the rp kool-aid once in a while and look at the big picture. you think repubs think iran is gonna invade the us and enslave us? jfc
-
I love how they are just giving a complete fuck you to the Ron Paul supporters there...I mean, really? You give prime seats to Guam and Samoa over some of the 50 states that make up our country? The RP camp has been completely screwed at every turn on this campaign. Level ground my ass.
-
keep that corporate welfare going strong for the defense contractors NCJ. they are counting on you.

also even if you hate RP, you should at least acknowledge the Fed needs to go. so that alone should put him above those two other chaps running. -
So if they're not a threat to us why do they worry so much? Did you watch the debates? Bachmann, Romney, Santorum, etc etc all stated about how big of a threat they are. If they're not a threat to our national security why is there so much talk about possible strikes, etc etc?
-
Actually there is some RP stuff in the platform...audit the fed, no future wars or strikes without declaration of war from congress, no drones without warrants, some good stuff in there
-
the problem is that there will ALWAYS be a credible threat to national security as far as republicans are concerned - they always insist on fiscal austerity measures on the home front and pour billions out the door on the foreign front. Both parties are huge proponents of stimulus money, the only difference is who gets the stimulus - the working poor and welfare families, or the billion dollar military contractors.

I'm not saying he should be the pres just because of that; I just didn't know that Romney singlehandedly saved the olympics, and thought that was impressive. Shit, I don't even know if it's true or not, but I tend to believe what I hear on CNN or MSNBC
