We all need I need not to write anything in OP, as thread title is undisputed fact. sigh

In response to the appalling events documented here: http://www.pocketfives.com/f13/fbi-t...adical-647434/ , the Obama administration took to looking for false and misleading information regarding Islam in FBI training manuals. Information was found and corrected. The Republican shit-clown-storm followed:
Bachmann: “Obama is allowing terror suspect groups to write the FBI’s terror training manual.”
the Newt: the administration has “issued instructions, for example, that in developing training papers on terrorism that no mention should be made of radical Islam.”
Rick "man-on-dog" Santorum: the president “actually ordered all references to Islam and Muslim sanitized out of our national security documents.”
Thoughts? Discussion? Or should we just leave these words alone as any comment/addition/clarification pales in the face of the statements themselves.

Reason: if anyone wants to teach me how to make a link that shows as something other than the url, PM me. Same for ghost-test. tx -

wait..i am confused.
Why shouldn't the FBI be able to mention radical islam or reference islam or muslims in the documents?
Or..i did not read obv...did they just make that shit up in hopes of hitting a sore spot with the average voter who does not read or know about the changes obama made
please inform -

The problem is that FBI training included materials saying that moderate Muslims were terrorist sympathizers, that Islam was a cult with terrorism and world domination at its root, and that all Islamic charities were fronts for supporting terrorism.
In steps in Obama to change that and other misconceptions.
Republican candidates then say that Muslim terror groups are writing FBI training manuals.
sound accurate to you? -
republicans are looking for talking points to gain votes.

pretty desperate if you ask me
but then again...when aren't politicians trying to spin shit to gain votes.
both sides are guilty of this shit..in this case it seems to me that the republicans sound desperate and pathetic -
.... except ron paul
-
In before "Ron Paul, though"
;)
Hard to believe he's a Republican when you put him next to the other clowns -
Ron Paul is no different, he's just not as open about it as the others

The ironic thing is that Userid363 is ALSO spinning the truth. You are painting the truth with your own angle.
ALL Islamic charities ARE fronts? Show me where it says this exactly.
You, and the candidates and especially Obama have a problem with the truth. -
It's funny to me when people like amslim consciously refuse to understand a position. The worst kind of close mindedness comes from those who profess to be tolerant. We've spent way too much time on this subject especially in light of your unwillingness or inability to understand where I come from on the issue of religion, muslim , christian or whatever.

He's probably referring to the article in the OP

"The materials for the FBI analyst’s instructional presentation said that mainstream American Muslims are likely to be terrorist sympathizers, that the Prophet Mohammed was a cult leader and that the Islamic practice of giving charity is no more than a funding mechanism for combat."
Truth... o rly? -

but whatever, I prob do it too. Most of us are guilty of this. -
Not this fuckin shit again

I find it shocking that the fbi is focusing on the negative and potentially dangerous aspect of islam and muslims instead of talking about all the good things muslims do. What's next, focusing on kidnappers and hate groups instead of good, honest americans? why so negative? what about the good in people? Why do they immediately zero-in on the crime aspects of life? millions of people go every day without committing crimes and the fbi never even talks about them.
................... -
I find it shocking the OT-conservative intelligentsia want to besmirch law-abiding US citizens.
why do ya'll hate freedom so much? -
the fbi deals with law-abiding us citizens? why?
-
agreed, that's my point, why is the fbi even talking about law-abiding, US citizens in the FBI analyst’s instructional presentation?
probably because of people like you, people that care about "security" more than freedom. -
yeah that's me in a nutshell lol
-
who did what now? examples? I'll wait
-
it says that it is a basic doctrine of islam law to give $ to the religion and that part of that money should be used to pay for the fighters to wage jihad.

then there is a long part about the fact that it is a basic principle of islam to wage war against nonbelievers and that this jihad and the ones who carry it out are to be respected. it basically says that.
