    Yes. The new precautions only relate to liquids or gels in your carry on. Pack it in your checked in suitcase and your fine, I flew yesterday and people are retarded. JetBlue ruled by packing the plane with assloads of drinks. Ipods, Laptops, Port DVDS,PSPs still good.

    I just got back from California last night and the hotel told me it was going to take 3 hours to get through security. We got to the airport at around 9:30 (flight at 12:30) and we were at the gates by 9:45. I've never been through an airport so quick, I guess I just got lucky. My lady had to dump all her lip gloss and carmex and all the "beauty" shops were closed down in the airport because they couldn't sell anything. Sucks for business in the airport shops but if it stops some terrorists it is all worth it.

    dude it's always like that. My parents always insisted on getting to the fucking airport 6 hours early where we'd end up sitting at the cafe for 5.5 hours.

    whats funny is u cant take clippers through the gate. but after you go through the gate you can go to the gift shop place and buy them. My wife and I laughed our azzes off at that one. suprised they dont sell knifes and stuff also. "sir you cant bring that through our gate, but if you would like to pick up a nice sharp object at our gift shop before boarding it would be our pleasure."

    I was talking to a friend last night and they said something like iPods and all that other electronic shit is prohibited on international flights only. Flights within the US you only have to get rid of liguids (and a lot of makeup products for girls).

    How can you differentiate between a muslim and a sheikh? How do you know who is muslim out of ten middle easterns. With some of the genius' that work in airports, they'd probably search a whole bunch hindus and indians.It wouldn't work.

    dude, you guys are getting out of control again. the security at the airport really doesn't give a shit, even if we're in high threats. they aren't gonna racial profile, they're still gonna wand your ass if you set off the thing. i mean shit you can't even wear shoes thru it..there isn't much more they can do. none of you are flying overseas or shit, i bet your airport experience stays the same

    they should examine shit better cuz i can still get shit on the plane that im not supposed too. i bet they will do a better job now, but in a month or so..that shit will come in your carry on again cuz they don't look
