    So sorry to hear Diss, just try and take it easy and surround yourself with loved ones. Your dad isn't suffering anymore, and he knows he had a lot of people who loved him.     After a year I felt much better, probably because all the first holidays and birthdays without him passed and I realized it was going to be alright. The family bonding helps.
    I still think of him constantly but all good memories that make me smile.

    Sorry for your loss. I know from experience this is one of the toughest things you'll ever have to deal with in your life. All you can do is be thankful you had such a great father, because many, many people never experience that love and that bond.... you need to be strong and carry on in a way that would make him proud, and live your life fully and without dwelling on this sad day.
