    no, it was a hosting site. So you could upload stuff and then get a link to that file and acess it from anywhere in the world.
    It was very practical. People then started to use it to upload movies, music, games, TV series and then publish the link on forum for exemple. BUt per se, megaupload was 100% legal

    well clearly you are mistaken. Megaupload is the same as Youtube. You download a video and you share the link. People can then read the clip by clicking on the link. A torrent site is peer to peer, a hosting site uses servers to host all the files that customers uplload

    I paid for a 2year membership.. 2months ago. GG hopefully that teaches me a lesson to deal with pirates

    although i did use it for upload storage etc as well as wathcing illegal shows.. prolly 75/25 shows/upload tho
