Bought this game for my 8 year old son. Was my favorite growing up, and we have played against each other on Pogo in the past. needless to say i am so disgusted by the changes. i had no idea that the game was different, you can't even play the old way. What a disappointment. was so looking forward to having a big game soon. hopefully the racing car set we got for our other son doesn't disappoint.

I still have one from about 25 years ago. What's different about it now? Does it have characters from The Simpsons or something?

I see what you did there. Way to be a follower instead of a leader.

USed to love Risk. We modified our boards to increase the attacking lines across oceans (ie E. Australia ---- W. S. America). Made it more interesting . . .

Unless the map is radically changed, what is keeping you from playing the classic rules?

cards are different for trading in. I suppose you could alter it a bit but the strategy for trading would be different. there are no cannons, horse, soldier, just 1 or 2 stars
