    Did anybody else see the guy holding up a sign that said "The Mavrick" instead of "The Maverick" on CNN's coverage of the RNC. They showed it for only a few seconds near the end of McCain's speech. Is it me or should they have someone to check these signs before people are allowed to hold them up.

    There obviously wasn't enough space to spell "The Maverick" out in full. Not a big deal imo, but still kinda funny.

    It was a large piece of white poster board, can't see how there wasn't room for an "E"

    Are you sure it didn't say Mav'rick? That's how they say it in Texas.

    Maybe the apostrophe was too faint.
