Lot of neat ideas here.
"There was only one buddha 2500 years ago, now you meet 5 or 10 buddhas at every city you go to."
I love this quote not just because of what it means regaurding the evolution of knowledge and communication and information availability, etc, but how it challenges the notion of Buddha being this walking God who even the greats of the past 500 years (nietzche, einstein, tesla, jefferson, mckenna, etc) couldn't hold a candle to. I mean, don't get me wrong, he was obviously a stone cold G, but I think this quote puts things into a more realistic perspective. -
RAW is a pretty spectacular genius, but he's also completely insane...
Anyone with the time (and the open mind) should read his Illuminatus! trilogy, one of the greatest books I've ever read. Drivel mixed up with genius mixed up with oh crap is this a joke disguised as a religion or a religion disguised as a joke mixed up with all kinds of bizarro history and science and politics and sex and drugs and bad rock n roll bands... -
Cosmic Trigger is another book of his I would recommend.

Everybody should try LSD at least once. It proves there are other ways to perceive "reality"
The power of yoga and meditation is incredible. To say I have scratched the surface of their capabilities would be an exaggeration , imo it is probably the best thing you can do in life for yourself. I lack the discipline to keep at it. Such a powerful tool. Everybody who does yoga and thinks it is just stretching and a nice work out, you are missing everything.
