    I remember watching the game when he slid in to home...he just picked up his limp leg and started screaming. Anyway, should be interesting to see how that goes.

    It must have been back in '99 or 2000. Mets outfielder Benny Agbayani was a guest on the Howard Stern show and Howard asked him which player on the Mets has the biggest penis. Without even a moment's hesitation, Agbayani said "Robin Ventura".

    im sure googling would tell for sure but i doubt it. theyve used him as a fill in commentator for the past few years.

    Probably a bad hire then. Hiring a guy without a single inning of managerial experience sounds a bit crazy.

    +1. Just seems weird to hire a guy that hasn't spent any time managing in the minors or as a bench coach in the big leagues.
