Early polling shows OT likes male on male rape far more than you'd think.

Personally, my favorite 3 movies remaining in the tourney are LA Confidential, Pulp Fiction, and Silence of the Lambs.
It's a shame that LA Confidential is gonna get knocked out early. Imo it's one of the most severely underrated movies ever, and def deserves to AT LEAST make the final 4, if not the finals. I wonder what percentage of the people voting against it have even watched it. Sigh :( -
A Few Good Men vs Jurassic Park in round two is a travesty. Both easily top 10 movies of the 90s. I abstain from voting due to the decision being too hard.

Really tough to top Kevin Spacey's run from 1994-1999, although Leo might be doing it right now. In fact, he may be on his way to one of the GOATs.

That actually poses a good question, which I just posted on Twitter...
Better stretch: Spacey '94-99 or DiCaprio '02-10? -

I've got LA losing to Usual Suspects in a few rounds (my thoughts, doubtful it will happen that way) - so I basically agree with you.Originally Posted by bfactor

*raises hand*
It was the match up I took the longest to select. Schindler's List is a fantastic movie and I appreciate it in every way, but Leon just holds too special a place in my heart. It has consistently been in my top 15 movies of all time whenever I futilely try to make an all time best list. I suppose I'm choosing this one based on a more subjective level than many of the others, but that's why we vote, so that favorite movies (mine included) like Shawshank can potentially lose.
FWIW if Hoop Dreams and or Heat were in this bracket I would have trouble ever voting against either. -
some tough ones in here

Shawshank should not win the bracket. At least not on quality. Goodfellas, American History X, and American Beauty are ALL better films. I love the original story by King, but have never understood the man-crush that OT seems to have for this film.

it's not just ot, everyone loves that movie. While I agree that history x and goodfellas are better cinematic achievements, no movie made you feel as good as Shawshank did in the end, which is why it is so universally adored IMO.
oh and anyone who votes for t2 over private ryan should be insta banned from this thread.
fight club vs fugitive was real tough, i voted for fugitive simply cuz i know every1 else is gonna vote for fight club, but have no beef with either one winning that showdown. -

T2 is a masterpiece. Saving Private Ryan is an over-rated piece of crap.
