    I just hope Hopkins doesnt kill him...... It's sad to see a legend like Roy being abused like he has done these last few years.

    What do you all think?

    Does he have one last fight in him?

    I really feel Hopkins will marmalise Jones.

    Roy is completely shot. he has been for about 5 years now.

    It's sad to see. If he'd have retired after that Ruiz win we'd be talking about one of the greatest boxers of all time. This last 5 or so years have really left a sour taste.....

    yeah all you have to do is look at roy's last fights since tarver. he hasn't had a big win since the tarver fight and has looked very unimpressive, especially in australia against danny green. although hopkins -400 loses all the value. unless yer thinking about parlaying hopkins with another fav on the undercard, it's useless betting him tonight.

    Id be pretty excited if this was the 90's

    Roy Jones in his prime was sensational. Guess ill have to stay up and watch it now.

    I agree with all of this except that he may have tarnished his legacy some (my words there not urs in case that isn't what you were saying). In his prime he is still the best boxer I've seen, just like Jerry Rice is the greatest WR I've seen, no matter how long either guy hangs around and their skills diminish. But yeah...still is fuckin sad to see these guys out there at this stage of their careers.

    I don't even remember why I hate Roy Jones...he was great though...just never had anybody that could be a good rival for him, Ali-Frazier type of rival.

    Looks like plenty of good seats still available.

    One thing I was reading said that Jones might not get paid at all. They're each supposed to get $3 million, but Hopkins gets his cut first. If they don't gross enough, Hopkins gets it all. Judging by attendance, they'll have to sell way more PPVs than I figure they will.
