    Yea wrestling is lame yada yada but the royal rumble match is always fun to watch for nostalgia. www.hd-sports dot info/

    There are currently four matches and one special attraction advertised for this Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV Event:
    1. John Cena vs. Kane — Will John Cena

    2. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry — Triple Threat Steel Cage Match

    3. WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler — Special Guest Referee John Laurinaitis

    4. 30-Man Royal Rumble Match:
    –#1 Entry: The Miz
    –Hardcore Legend Mick Foley officially entered as (begrudgingly) announced by John Laurinaitis
    Special Attraction: Chris Jericho promises the end of the world as we know it.
    CB’s Slant: While I have no interest in the John Cena-Kane storyline, I have always enjoyed the Rumble match itself regardless of the rest of the card.

    Daniel Bryan wins via escaping the cage.

    Given how limited Henry was with a legit knee and ankle injury, they did a good job protecting him. Wonder if that end was planned or not - usually they tease the escape a few more times.

    Beth/Natalya/Bella Twins over Eve/Kelly Kelly/Tamina/Alicia in a standard Diva clusterfuck. I'd hit any of them, though (including Tamina).

    Opened this thread for nostalgia and saw Mick Foley is competing?! He grew up right down the block from me and used to always go to almost all my community events including elementary school band concerts. Really cool guy.

    Wrestlers nowadays have the most generic names imaginable, Justin Jefferson with a slam to Paul Peterson. Hoping there will be some other surprise entrances other than Mick Foley.

    Yeah - double count out. Fight backstage, Cena down. Kane wheels Ryder out, Tombstones him before Cena can save him, then Kane chokeslams Cena. They do another stretcher job on Ryder.

    Way too many nostalgic entries - Hacksaw, Road Dogg, Cole, King, Booker, Foley, plus Ricardo Rodriguez, Santino, Kharma?

    Edit: last 4 Miz, Jericho, Sheamus and #30 - Undertaker.

    Wrong on #30, so put in Big Show for final 4.

    And Sheamus wins. I can't see him challenging Punk or Bryan, so I think you might see Bryan lose the title to someone like Barrett, and it will end up a three way match between Sheamus, Orton and Barrett at Wrestlemania.

    They do a 6 way next month so maybe Jericho wins and its a rematch of the final of the rumble.
