Running away to Vegas to get Married...OMG my sister

    So.....

    My sister. I love her, and she's awesome. But she is trippin right now. Or I guess I should say I'm trippin.

    A little background. My sis and I are very close. Always have been, she's one of my best friends. She is divorced (3 years now), has two awesome kids (8 and 14) and is a very responsible adult. She is successful, owns her own home, and is what I would consider a very strong and independent woman.

    She meets this guy on E-Harmony a month ago. I have met him twice, seems to be a pretty cool, down to earth guy.

    I get a text from her yesterday morning saying that she is in vegas and will be back in the afternoon. She's not a big Vegas gal and I ask her why she is in Vegas.

    She doesn't respond for a few minutes, so I text her "What, you got hitched...lol"

    Response: Define hitched. I knew it right then...thinking you gotta be fucking kiddin me.

    So it turns out they decided that they were madly in love, and just "deciced" it was what they both wanted and just flew up and did it.

    I can't even believe it. This is so out of charcter for her it's rediculous. She keeps saying that once you get to know him, you'll understand.

    So my question to OT is this....

    Who the fuck does this anymore?? I mean, if you're 19 years old and both your parents are against it, I understand. If you're a Star Trek freak and you have this irresistable urge to have "Captian Picard" oversee your nuptuals, I get it. But for a responsible adult, to make a rash decision like this, is beyond me.

    She gave me permission to post this....and since I knew PICS or GTFO was coming...I have included these from their tryst.

    No disrespect, but I highly doubt that to be a fair trade.
