With Ryan Grant out for the year and everyone with a full waive wire budget how much will it take to get Brandon Jackson?
Edited By: Generaly Sep 14th, 2010 at 07:48 PM
$35
Reason: Shoulda included a bid -
This is why you don't give in and sign as a free agent old guy like Westbrook did. Someone will go down the first few weeks and wa-la you're a starter and making more money than settling for a backup role in San Fran. Noob.
-
If it's PPR, he gains some value. He catches the ball much better than Grant out of the backfield, and Rodgers checks down quite a bit.
I don't do auction leagues, so I can't really help you there. -
I'm sorry. I raffed. Totally didn't see that coming.
-
If the Grant owner lacks depth, prolly 65-75% of his/her budget.
I'm still a little sour on Jackson, but here's his opportunity. -
I'm 2nd on waiver list and praying at 3am jackson is put onto my team, plzzzzzzzzzz
-
I wouldn't waste much money or time on Brandon Jackson. Packers have been wanting this guy to work himself into a larger role in the offense for the past few years, and Jackson failed to show anything. He catches passes fairly well, and that's pretty much all he would be able to do Should be valued as a RB4 or a weak RB3 depending on the depth at RB on your fantasy roster. He probably won't even be the goalline back!
I would bet on someone else receiving the majority of the carries at the end of the season. (James Starks or trade for a RB such as Marshawn Lynch) -
What do you think my odds are of getting Jackson with a 3rd waiver order? There's a girl at the number 2 spot fwiw.
Hoping I get super lucky here, since Grant is a tough blow for my team. -
I'm in the same situation...I'm in one league where I'm #3, but I know the guy at #1 doesn't even know what a waiver claim is. #2 will probably get him, and I'll want to smash my laptop.

I'm also in a 16-team league, and have the #2 waiver priority...unfortunately, #1 is the guy who has Ryan Grant. YIPPEE! -
Brandon Jackson blows.
You shouldn't overpay for someone just because they're supposed to get touches.
If you suck, you suck.
Exhibit A: Malcom Floyd -
Raise your hand if you have Ryan Grant in an OT league...
FMMFL. And my FA budget. -
packers should sign ahman green!!
ive watched every single game that jackson has been in his entire career. he shows flashes that he could be good, but a few flashes in that much time...idk. i wouldnt spend much on him. -
I have put adds in for jackson in every league but i'm not expecting him to run wild. The biggest thing about him is if he can hold the job then he will get 20+ touches a game and that is very difficult to find now. Even if you have strong running backs it would be a great luxury to have him starting as your rb 3 or flex, especially in ppr. If you own Grant then you need to just go all in on Jackson. There is no guarantee another rb goes down and his backup is going to be so readily available and receive such a large amount of touches.
-
he's projected to score 19+ this week in 1 of my leagues, lol

also, you give Floyd 1 game in the rain to prove himself as a #1? sweet sample size. -
jackson will get touches eevery game and the packers score, its not like ryan grant is a great back he just plays on a great team...
-
you're retarded

Jackson has always been good out of the backfield and is a solid runner. Just look what he did after Grant went down last week. He is solid with a big upside. -
$100 and 67 in my 2 leagues. fuck. i bid 83 and 50
-
yea I can't believe he went for all $100 in that league, I was the one that lost Grant there =/
I got him for 67 tho -
lol brandon jackson
