    anyone get good news today via email?

    I was selected to purchase Wednesday and Thursday tickets. Obviously not the most ideal situation, but I know of a few guys who didn't get selected so I guess I feel special.

    I am pretty fearful of the price tickets will be. I would probably be better off saving the 135 bucks to attend both Wed and Thur and try to score a Friday ticket.

    Think I would be less excited for Wed/Thurs of the event relative to Friday of the Cup than I would be for Tues/Wed practice rounds relative to Thurs/Friday of a major. Obv the Cup is high-intensity from the beginning and I would for sure pay more than double for the adrenalin Friday than I would to go Wed/Thurs.

    That course is a beast btw... I was out there the Sunday of the '90 US Open, and then got to play there a couple of years later.

    Pretty sure I am going to pick up a single ticket for Friday or Sunday instead of going Wed and Thur. Either way it's cool to be picked "at random" and pretty excited to get Ryder Cup stuff moving along.

    looks like ~$250-300 on eBay if brand new

    yea was just checking that...may keep it but i don't like the stiff shaft, that's what she said

    you any good? know what your swing speed is?

    and don't like it as in you normally play a reg or normally play an x-stiff?

    I only got tickets for the practice round at Celtic manor but nearer the time tickets went back on sale for all the days. Ended up going wednesday and Saturday. I would guess it would be a similar situation again. Practice days were ok but it doesn't even come close to how awesome the Saturday was.

    I've got the 910 d3 and I love it. Not that it really answers your question.

    I had a close friend get international plaza tix for the entire week. Should be a blast!
