doubt SA can compare though to SF for things to see and do so I'd pick SF if money wasn't a problem.
it had just rained there, it had been a while, and I walked around behind one of the missions looking for a souvenir and picked-up/stole a very old, square, hand-made nail that was unearthed by the rain. I don't feel too bad about it.
awesomely ironical if you really live in houston. -
good timing . the wife and i came over to san antonio for 4 days. fucking awesome...for us. just valeted the car and can walk/carriage ride/ trolley everywhere. can walk around and drink on the lower levels. we have eaten really good. great live music and drank on the cheap with competing happy hours. all right here. staying at the historic Menger, literally look out the window and the Alamo wall is maybe 30 feet away. if you just like time as a couple, hanging out and talking. drinking eating etc. this is the place. if you want to drive all over creation while on a short vacation then go to the bay area.

Sorry op, but this might be the dumbest question I've ever heard.
-
New Orleans imo
-
only way to choose SA is if money mattered, assuming it does not San Fran for sure but ive never been to san antonio (dont ever plan to either)
-
san fran. because it isn't Texas.
-
been to both. San Fran had an insane amount of homeless people. One of the main things that stuck out in my mind. That being said, there is more to do in San Fran. The food is 1000x better in San Antonio. The seafood in San Fran sucked. It's pretty cold in San Fran in general, I went in June and it was in the 50s/60s. I had a better time in San Fran, so I'd say that.

San Fran it is. Hoping to cop some 9ers vs gmen tickets. Don't know how the fiancée will feel about it but oh well guess we'll see.
-
Btw OT is slippin
-
Don't know if it applies, but don't light up a cigarette in SF. $500 fine.
-
Not applicable but thanks

Sea World and Fiesta Texas (six flags) should also be open on the weekends, if you like roller coasters. :) -
what an idiot. have even explored that part of texas? not to say id choose it over san fran, but some of the hate posts for texas baffles me. the entire state isnt just cowboys and horses runnin around lol. sa has more of a southwest vibe to it anyway, not cowboys. and dude, tucson and that area has almost a similar feel to sa in regards to culture.

If SA is anything like Tucson no chance I go there
-
Seattle or San Fran would be a better question.
-
My wife went to Seattle for a week and couldn't wait to get out of there. In her words, "Awesome city, depressing weather."
-
which do you prefer?
Texicans?
or
Mexicans? -
We've talked about going sometime next summer, but we'll prob do San Fran first for a few days.
