Starts today. Hoping to get some unique beers or some holiday brews.
My first drink is going to be while waiting for thereraise to get off work: AleSmith YuleSmith (Winter)
Then its on to a bar where they will be hosting Russian River Brewery. Don't know what they'll have on tap yet tho..
Any good seasonal beers out there or any one else have plans to attend in SD? -
Where in SD is it? I have a couple friends who are amateur brewers. They could be interested as well.

there's a lot more going on that what is listed on the website too. -
gotta love the 6:00am start times. I'm going to hit up one or two of the North County editions. Maybe Stone. I go to the Lost Abbey Brewery usually every couple of months. For $5 you can drink all you can. They are set up in a warehouse in an industrial park. Pretty rad place.

if you try Gift of the Magi... let me know how you like it... its made with Myrrh

I love the Stone Brewery. They have an awesome setup out there.

San Diego Beer Week Day 6: my beer event
Edited By: thereraise Nov 9th, 2011 at 07:06 PM
I am hosting a beer event at my wine bar this evening. 6 unique and distinctively San Diego brews, each paired with 1-2 cheeses and/or charcuterie. Myself and our chef will be hosting a discussion about the breweries, beer styles, brewing techniques, yeast malt and hop influence on each respected beer, and some overall holiday meal pairings for each beer.
The beers i am featuring for the event and for SDBW

left to right: Julian Hard Cider, Lost Abbey Devotion (trappist style blonde ale with distinct hoppiness), Alesmith Yulesmith ( a dark winter warmer), Port Brewing Mongo Double IPA, Stone Smoked Porter, Lost Abbey Judgement Day (a dark quadruppel ale brewed with raisins), and we also always have Stone IPA
Should be a fun event, ill post some more pics when I get home later
