    Just collected on my over 71.5 wins bet yesterday ($50). My Dodgers buddy basically gave up on our other bet where I got the Padres +13 games over the Dodgers head to head ($25).

    No if they can just hold onto the division lead, I will cash in on my 33-1 bet to win the division ($20 to win $660).

    Still 42 games to go, but they are playing some pretty good ball at this point.

    They need to stay healthy. I heard Eck was pulled after his first abat tonight in a rehab start. Hope he gets back soon.

    Giants are falling apart too so no worries yet.

    We need to get all the OTers together for a Padres home game fellas, I'm thinking the Giants at Padres in Sept!! Let me know if you guys are in, I'm sure lots of Giants fans would wanna drop in on this too which would make for some crazy side action and funny times.

    Yeah timmy has lost like 4-5 MPH on his fastball. So i doubt he carries them down the stretch.

    In our Concerned Citizens Committee, we pay rapt attention to the ballpark speed gun. Lincecum, who routinely threw 95 and up as a rookie, is now more of a low-90s guy. On Sunday, he hit 93 with one pitch in the first inning, but by the fourth, his fastball was around 88.

    Yeah, I'd obv be pissed if they won the wild card and not the division at this point. But that bet is almost like a freeroll now anyway.

    padres are such sickos. latos has been unreal lately and has to be in the cy young discussion...hats off to this team. please hold off the giants please! heading down there in a couple weeks when the dodgers play there (yes i am a masochist).
