    Im far from a Sanchez hater, ive actually defended him quite a few times this year. But given how badly the Jets have been playing and having to go up against Pitt's D on Sunday, the writing is on the wall....its gonna happen sometime during the game on Sunday.

    I guess this is my version of an "OT lock" thread. Im calling it right now...on a Thursday night.

    Who's the backup QB for Jets? Sanchez might play terrible but i think the Jets D dominates Pitt's offense enough to make it a close game and Sanchez doesn't get benched. But u never know. The wheels are definitely coming off the Jet's superbowl ride and Ryan is starting to feel alot of pressure trying to cash all those checks his big ass mouth keeps writing.

    Don't see it happening. I expect em to get spanked, but doubt they'll shatter his confidence like that. If you're taking action on him getting benched (non injury related obv), I'll put some on it.

    what was the point of rex saying that he was close to benching sanchez last week during his postgame interview? i cant really grasp any reason for coming out and saying that. i mean its completely obvious that sanchez blows the past couple weeks but couldnt that statement have been something said behind the cameras? idk just my thought

    its sanchez's fault that his receivers lead the world in drops.

    his top 3 receivers are all in the top 14 in the AFC in drops.

    you see that drop by holmes? that was pathetic, but of course, blame sanchez because he made the throw too easy.

    this jets team is quriky, they will show up on the road against a top afc team this week. dare I say the offense shows some life this week and we see some patented Holems and Edwards big time plays. jets get it done 17-14, go into chicago next week, dispose of them, and then end the season with a clunker loss to buffalo

    lol already writing off a guy who has started only 1 year in college and just over 1.5 years in the nfl and has already has shown some very positive streaks, as well as win 2 playoffs games? extremely premature imo. Bet you wrote off Drew Brees after 2 not so good seasons too
