ps. you know what would be sweet, if all the vitriol and palin-hate in this thread was backed-up. I mean, if the haters listed what exactly is so bad about her. I would genuinely like to know b/c she seems to have stirred up a shitstorm in ot just by deciding not to run for reelection. personally, I'm hoping one of them is "because she thinks seeing russia from her house qualifies her to be potus". guess why! lol
She's anti education
anti environment
anti womens rights
she doesnt read anything
she has no knowledge of domestic/foreign policy
she called a united states senator a terrorist basically
the list goes on....
Lets see,
Of course she hates anyone being educated...doesn't everyone?
Yes, she wants to pollute and destroy all the environment she possibly can....she probably had something to do with the valdez oil spill.
Everyone knows that she is against women having equal rights...she hates women....hell, she doesn't even like abortion.
Of course she doesn't read anything, she's against education remember...I'm sure in all her years and work, she has never even read the back of a cereal box.
I'm sure that your measuring stick for knowledge of domestic/foreign policy is the great Obama....right? -
Too bad that wasn't the standard previous to the current president...

This post is so ignorant it's almost not worth my time to respond. Yout think by expressing your views through hyperbole it makes palin any more credible?
She couldnt cite a fucking supreme court case, i dont need the news to tell me anything, i get my news from the interwebz, not msnbc.
I would like obama if he was an actual liberal, but since hes not im looking to throw my support behind someone that is. gavin newsome 1x -
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/03/19/...ects-stimulus/
The biggest single chunk of stimulus money that Palin is turning down is $160 million for education. Theres also $17 million in Department of Labor funds (vocational rehabilitation services, unemployment services, etc.), about $9 million for Health and Social Services and about $7 million for Public Safety.
Wired Science, part of the Wired blog network, discusses her views on teaching creationism in public school science classes. (Merriam-Webster defines creationism as a doctrine or theory holding that matter, the various forms of life, and the world were created by God out of nothing and usually in the way described in Genesis [the first book of the Judeo-Christian Bible].) They refer to an article in the Anchorage Daily News covering a 2006 Alaska gubernatorial debate:

Grist reports that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin strongly opposes the Alaskan gas tax, threw money at Alaskans to quiet their concerns over rising energy costs, and "recently sued the Interior Department over its decision to list the polar bear as a threatened species."
Shooting a scared, tired wolf from a plane. Sarah Palin approved a $400,000 state-funded propaganda campaign to promote aerial hunting.

How could anyone not vote for this stellar example of a jesus loving humanitarian. -
Anyone who uses this argument about the other side is a closed-minded idiot. It means that anything that doesn't follow their strict ideology must be a mimicking of some liberal source. It is a projection of their own limits
-
Im a fan of his views on social issues, i dont know much about his monetary policy. Honestly at this point i think it doesnt even matter. I'd like my freedom.

it really doesn't matter who the Republican candidate is... by the time the socialist empire is fully implemented, the GOP campaign is going to have the heavist arsenal in history to defeat the incumbent clownshoe in 2012. Every swing voter is already gone for Ubama... they are all saying now "why in the fuck did I vote for this guy?"
Obviously, the people getting free stuff and the radical leftists (like those in this thread) will continue voting for him, but the swing voters who got him the 53-47 popular win... if they aren't all gone already, they will be by the time the bread lines have formed in 2012... -
scary part about the whole thing resilient is the fact of how much our government has grown. In 1990 it was 30% of all jobs, now it's 40% and if the stimulus does what they are hoping it will be 46% by 2012. That's a lot of people dependent on status quo.
oh btw, this is NOT socialism, germany is 47%, we have to get a percent higher. -
Good riddance to bad rubbish for another dogmatic spewer of right-wing trash masquerading under a cloak of 'righteousness'.
-
lol. you might want to check his approval rating. history says you suck at this, as do current facts.

facts dont matter. Republicans have "common sense" dontcha know'
-
lol @ using polls with the word "strongly." I just pulled up the article that you got that from, and you are going to try to tell me his approval rating isn' over 50%?
from the article:
Overall, 53% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance so far
ignoring the lol that is rasmussen polls, it still supports my point.
you're really on a skwing spree tonight, arent u gin? -
gallup has the same numbers. 53% is far off from the 68% he enjoyed just a few short months ago. the somewhat approve has dropped the most, the strongly disapprove has gone up the most.
weeeeeeee, skewing is fun. -
is 53% a majority? have all swing voters left obama like res said? did I ever say his approval hasn't dropped? did you skew what I said?

wtf? -
damn neeek, i like you better when you just post smarky one-liners (or is that neek, shit).
ok, i'll get serious with ya for sec, i agree that res was wrong, not ALL swing voters have left, if he had said most had, or most are leaving he would have been right. Not really sure why this is worth arguing though, i'm pretty sure if you nailed him down he'd admit there was atleast 1 swing voter still backing him and that would make him wrong. -
kinda like the trends in that socialist pig clinton's first 6 months. i wonder what happened there.

at least you have a majority to go by though. oh wait. loolz. is your point that you are dead wrong 5 minutes ago, but maybe you will be right in the future? well, good luck with that i guess.
given your prediction success rate, I think you saying Obama is going to lose is better for the dems than palin being the repub candidate. -
Simple really:
8 years of Bush, people vote for change.
8 years of Obama, people will vote for change.
