    That was a good match, and Beckam really came through for England. I missed a lot of the 2nd half, but Ecuador relly controlled the 1st half and put all the pressure on England, they were lucky to win IMO, but a great goal by Beckam, and a solid win by Englan, Portugal will be a real test in the round of 8.

    Who said it was a lock again? I certainly never used the word "lock". It was a good value bet for +650. Ecuador played very well they hit the crossbar like 50 times. So i was pissed about that. If you wanna lock put some money on the White Sox -117. And what happened to NP? suicide?

    the announcers were really doggin on beckham in the first half, they really changed their tune when he put that one in.

    I thought beckham played very well defensively throughout. But, of course, he'll only be noticed / commented on for his offensive contributions.

    He didn't play that well defensivelly at all, in fact he isn't a very stron defender on his best day.
