Scary Stories for Halloween OT? WUG?

    Anybody ever have the dogshit scared out of them? Was it something supernatural or just some chick's father/boyfriend/husband getting home earlier than you two had planned on? Prefer they be true stories, or at least fabrications that have the ring of truth, lol. As for my stories, they are true and possibly not natural.

    I only had maybe one or two weird first-hand experiences with anything paranormal until I was in my 30's. I was living alone in a small frame house which doubled as a photography studio. I have no idea if it had any ghostly history or activity before I got there, but it did seem to have a lot of weird creaks and bumps at night. One particular night I was laying in bed going over in my mind what I needed to do the next morning when I felt something sit down on the right-side edge of the bed down almost at my feet. Whatever it was, seemed to be small, maybe like 40 or 50 pounds. It didn't move and I didn't either. At some point I must have fallen asleep because I don't remember it ever lifting up off the bed.

    Another night in a different house about four years later, I'm laying in the bed with my then-wife and she is fast asleep. I'm awake when something at the foot of the bed gave a jerk on the sheet. Really distinct. I lay awake wondering if that would be the prelude to something further, but nothing else happened. On a couple of other occasions in this same house I still live in I've heard sounds of something heavy walking around above the ceiling. Which is weird because the attic is full of junk and no way you could walk around up there if you wanted to. There have been noises of things falling off shelves or onto counters, but with nothing found to be broken or out of place. I've had the tv set come on by itself a few times, seen things just move by themselves.

    Really the thing that scared me the most happened when I was about 13. I was laying in the living room at the front of the house doing my homework. My parents were getting ready to go shopping. I could hear my mothers high heels as she walked around in their bedroom getting ready to go as I worked on math problems. I became totally immersed in my homework. After awhile at some point I became vaguely aware of hearing my mother's footsteps still going walking around on the hardwood floor of their bedroom. In a few minutes it dawned on me that my parents had been gone for a good half-hour and I was in the house by myself. Just as this thought flashed in my mind, I heard those high heel clicking sounds start up again down the hall. It scared the fucking hell out of me. I got out of the house. I don't remember running, but I got out fast. What was it? I have no idea, but it was weird. Don't remember any other incident like that one while I was growing up.

    Anybody else got anything scary?

    Once I was backpacking and we were camped along side a river. Just after dark we decided to take a swim to essentially clean up after hiking all day and setting up camp and what not. We walked down to the river and got in the water in a spot where the river widened to probably 20-30 yards across. We swam for about 20 minutes and as we were about to get our there was a splash directly in the middle of this wide spot in the river. When I say "big splash" I don't mean a splash that a big fish would make. I mean the kind of splash that would happen if you dropped a small car in the river from 20 feet up or so. Water literally flew 20-30 feet in the air. We both stood there for what felt like 5 minutes but was probably really a minute or two and did not move or say a word...we just stared at the spot waiting for whatever this was to come out of the water and eat us.

    We never saw a sign of whatever it was again. Still wonder what it was...

    At my old house about 2 years ago, I got out the Ouija board and my camera. Ended up having to leave the house, some of the scariest shit I have ever encountered happened after that. Never have gone back. I pissed someone off. This stuff tends to follow me, I have it happen a lot. People wouldn't believe it unless they went through it. Some of the things were

    ~ 4lb dog saw the grumpy male spirit and was so scared in the middle of the night she cried for 5hrs straight and was shaking so hard, this was after a cupboard door slammed shut.
    ~ My name was constantly called by the guy
    ~ I had a fan next to my bed and whenever he got near, the fan always changed the sound, like got higher in pitch, I could always feel him next to me, when he left, the fan changed back.
    ~ Always tickling/messing with my cheeks and toes, it was so freaky.
    ~ Opening doors/cupboards, banging them
    ~ Scared my kids so bad..left husband confused
    ~ Objects were always moved to the same spot.
    ~ Bed would vibrate

    Many other things...these are a few.

    It got to a point to where I couldn't sleep and would literally grab my husband at night and would stare out the door. I always knew when he came around, and he was always around. I'm VERY prone to paranormal.

    As far as the camera. Got hundreds of creepy pictures on it from that house and other places. Have them all on my hard drive. One day I'll look at them again. My friend and I caught a ghost once up in the hotel we worked at. You can see her whole body.

    I was moving cross country with my girlfriend and we were in Utah in the middle of the night (1 am, 2 am, something like that). We pulled off at a rest stop for the bathrooms and it was empty except for one semi parked on the other side. I just got an eerie feeling in my stomach so I didn't even go in the bathrooms, just pissed outside quickly, then hurried back to the car and drove off quickly. Before we pulled off I had planned on trying to bang my girlfriend in said rest stop but just felt so freaked out it overpowered my sex drive.

    a few weeks ago I was at a friend's place and he was messing with some iphone EVP app. he turned it on and after a minute it said "big." so he asked it what was big. then it said "palin," which seemed like a weird random word for this fake iphone app to spit out. but after a few seconds we realized he was wearing his nailin palin shirt with a topless chick on it (classy I know). we let it sit there for a few hours after that and it just spit out garbage.
