    is she actually wrong about the cop tire thing tho?

    Im not a car guy but I thought changing your rims or tire size could mess up things like your odometer. so while flatter tires might not make a huge difference it still could make a difference if you are going fast enough.

    I have no clue if this is right tho because my brain isnt working well today

    If you are going 80MPH then you are going 80MPH regardless of what the odometer says.

    guess youve never been on country roads. most of the roads dont have speedlimit signs afaik. city is 25 and highway is 55 unless posted (at least here it is)

    I think he meant highways with no speed limit as was the case in some western states until the nationally mandated 55mph went into effect in the 80's. I don't think any states have gone back to that though.

    i have heard in the past that oversize tires could give you a false reading on your speedometer but i don't know how much truth there is to that.
