UC Berkeley scientists have developed a system to capture visual activity in human brains and reconstruct it as digital video clips. Eventually, this process will allow you to record and reconstruct your own dreams on a computer screen.

I would try to give a summary of this but you are all better off just reading it from the experts mouths.
Its a real interesting process that could have many different applications. Imagine being able to watch other people dreams. Or being able to reconstruct your visual memories when you dont have a camera around to record them. Could even spill into court cases down the line making it nearly impossible to lie.
If you are into new tech this is a must read -
there you go, stealing youtube vids and posting them again.
why dont you come up with something original??? -
It will be interesting to see how this tech develops. I know some people who dreams that are more worth watching than the shit hollywood produces. or imagine a guy like Tom Brady or Travis Pastrana hooked up to this. would be real sick to see what they see when they are pissing excellence -
Imagine the lie detecting they could do with that shit.

Man I have some weird ass dreams, doubt I would want to see videos of them....well except for my threesome dreams might want to record those since it like zero chance of that happening in real life.
-
my head just assploded.
also, i dont want this technology, i have no desire to ever go back and look at my dreams -

What about seeing someone's final visuals before they died and figuring out who murdered them

Its pretty amazing how the more advanced we get the easier we are to control. If you think big brother and their street cams are bad this is beyond the next level.
we are closing in on the point where the gov knows every thing they could possible want to know about anybody

I dont exactly know if this could work like that. it looks like they need a brain that is still functioning for this to work. but who knows where they can take it -
AWESOME!
I've wanted a device that could capture my dreams as videos for as long as I can remember...this is so sick. Science rapes. -

Don't really believe all the psychis on TV and such but that does not mean its not possible. The human brain is an amazing thing.
You know what would be really cool....if someday we are able to translate a persons dreams onto the television. That would be fn crazy. Taping a persons dreams through some wicked future technology and then watching it on TV......crazy f'd up.
ohhhh farrr ouuuuut, maaaan -
If this actually works that is awesome. There are def some dreams that I want to be able to remember and re-live.
