    Sup OT, Im thinking of opening an account with Scottrade to get into some online investing. Does anyone have any experience with this site? I'm a total novice and will probably lose everything I have, but I wanna do that on the best possible site! Can anyone with a lil experience shed some light on some of these online brokerage firms? I'm curious about fees and any other details that would be pertinent...Any insight would be sweet.....THANKS!

    heard great things about etrade and had some good coin until it nearly went under. Go with fidelity. Much safer IMO

    Dad is a retired Financial Planner. He now swears by Scottrade and does Option trading on there all day. He's got at least 600k on there and I know he's never had any issues with them.

    I have TDameritrade, and so far have been very happy. The system they have is designed so that you pay no more than the quote price, and often times as has happend to me, you get a cheaper price!

    Awesome, thanks. I think ill look into to scottrade, seems like a safe, good way to go!
