Have construction happening at house and they took all my HDTVs so only way I can watch is to go.
Thank goodness a vendor came through with some tickets and passes to a pregame party.
Hope for a good game but I think LSU is team on a mission and will continue it tomorrow.

Weeeeee. This game kind of sucks for LSU. What if GA shows up and actually makes this a game. One of those situations were this game can only ruin your season has no benefit for them.
-
Hopefully it's competitive, no chance of the upset tho
-
What would actually happen in the BCS standings if Georgia wins? That'd be fucking interesting.
-
LSU is still projected to go to the Championship game even if they lose. I just think it is kind of funny that two teams from the SEC that did not win the SEC championship, are playing for the National championship.

Oh and we are talking about the BCS system, that has been known to get it wrong. -

Guess he thinks LSU is gonna head from the NE to Cali and GA is gonna head up to the NE.... not sure why tho -
LSU 142
Georgia 3 -
Didn't feel like reading the thread and I apologize if this has been covered but correct me if I'm wrong:
Each conference gets max 2 BCS bowl bids, right?
If UGA wins, they are SEC champs and get an auto bid to like the sugar bowl or some shit, obv not the NC.
That means LSU either drops down and Alabama plays in the NC against the big 12 winner, or vice versa. Either way, doesn't it mean that one of the top 2 teams in the nation not only won't be playing in the NC, but one won't even be playing in a fucking BCS bowl!? There's no way this can be true, please someone explain it to me. -
No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings.

Game is gonna be closer than the experts think.

Damn you for making this thread. I have been holding off for days dammit. Mine was gonna have a much better title tho. Something like ***Official UGA Shocks the World SEC Championship Thread***. Ya, that sounds much better. Petition for a title change imo.

You guys are even cuter than oregon and arkansas fans. -
I want Georgia to win in a close one.
And for Bama and LSU to still play for the national title.
#EveryGameMattersLOL -
mbn to go through an SEC reg season schedule without playing Bama, LSU, or Arkansas. LSU wins, and I doubt it's close.
-
Has anyone ever rolled over such a difficult schedule as LSU has?
I was looking at their schedule and they've played something ridiculous like 6 ranked teams (UGA + BCS natl. Championship would make it 8 fucking games against top 25 ranked opponents).
They've only played 1 close game against #2 Alabama, they look like Boise State except they're playing one of the most difficult schedules I've ever seen.
If they win it all is this pretty easily the most impressive college football season ever or what? -
trying to decide if I should start drinking now or try to get some sleep before the game...
2011-2012 LSU is the best ncaa team in several years imo, which is pretty sick considering how fucking young this team is. 1st team to win 3 BCS (lol) championships? yawn... -
3peat in ncaa football? ohh i see, you decided to start drinking. good call.
