  1. Alright, I am in desperate mode in Fantasy Football. I am 2-6 and in 9th place and top 8 make the playoffs. I have been decimated by injuries this season and I am going to have to win out to make the playoffs. My players that are currently hurt for this week: Stephen Jackson, Kenny Watson (plus he loses all value once Rudi Johnson comes back), Andre Johnson and Deion Branch.

Basically I am short people this week to even start! So a guy offered me

    Steven Jackson and Brian Leonard

    for

Laurence Maroney, Jerious Norwood and Vernon Davis.

I replace Jackson with a top back that is in a sick offense (coming off injury, but he should do well), another RB that will take over the starting position soon, and a TE that is on the rise.

Steven Jackson obviously has more potential than those guys but he is hurt and I cannot just hold him. I have to accept this trade dont I?

    My team
    QB- Carson Palmer
    WR- Hines Ward
    WR- Kevin Curtis
    TE- Eric Johnson
    RB- Thomas Jones
W/R- Kenny Watson (he is in this spot cause people on my bench are hurt, but now so is he)
W/R- Deion Branch (not positive he is starting, plus coming off injury(
    Bench- Andre Johnson
    Bench- Steven Jackson
    Bench- Brian Leonard
    Bench- Bobby Engram
    Bench- Jason Campbell
    Bench- Derek Hagan.

If i accept the trade, I immediately put Maroney and Norwood into the W/R spots and Davis into the TE. When my team becomes healthy with andre johnson, it will look good.

So accept or reject? I am leaning towards accept basically out of necessity.
  2. Maroney is not a top back, he doesn't even score touchdowns....
I think you should ride it out with Jackson and Leonard IMO.

See if you can pick up Ryan Grant or Edinas;ldkjfas of Houston who are now starting RB's and dump Hagan
  3. Maroney will be a top back, he has shown some serious skills. Plus he is in the New England offense. Also, going into the colder part of the season, teams run more.

The rams offense is also anemic, that is playing into my thinking.

  4. Sorry but Maroney is not a top back

Hell, they ran with BRADY TWICE in the last game on the goal line

Maroney is more or less a workhorse, Faulk and Morris will get the TD's

LOL if you think the Patriots are going to stop throwing and running more because it gets cold
  5. anyone else? this will determine my season or not.

and i wont even be able to fill up my roster if i dont accept this trade
