How the FUCK are you gonna keep running this Vince Young suicide story like you are?
Don't you realize people who commit suicide want to go out w/ all the atteantion they can?
Your making it SOOO much easier on this guy!!!!
Stay classy you bunch of fuckin fucks!!! -
Ohhh....and now AFTER the suicide story you have the fucking BALLS to show his horrible stats as of this year....
I swear if I could get face to face w/ the producer of sportscenter i'd slug his ass. -
someone is in a bad mood this morning..........good morning phi
-
Wait, what happened to Vince Young? Should I bench his this week on my fantasy team? Someone rate that play for me this week. K thnx.
-
Does it bother you that they, espn, bring up his personal life?
-
You going to punch him for making the wish come true stories too?
-
The coverage probably would have died down by now if the Titans hadn't tried to hide how bad his emotional condition was.
-
Is it possible to run in front trains? You can only be hit by one train at a time and it will 99% of the time kill you. The other 1% you will be paralyzed and couldn't walk in front of the next train.
-
It's life, it's news, and when you are the starting QB for an NFL team you will get this type of coverage, just that simple. IF ESPN was not covering it this much the other side would say they are ignoring poor VY and he needs to be heard.
-
If he kills himself, is McNabb going to start with the whole "You'll be sorry when I'm gone!" thing every time he gets booed?
EDIT: On the serious tip, it's been my experience that people who "really" (for lack of a better word) want to commit suicide DON'T want the attention. They seem to get into the isolation (sp?) thing in the time leading up to it. I think 90% of the time what he did turns out to be a cry for help type of deal.
also, the fact that his mother is making statements about his situation should be a wake-up call for his dumb ass. No mother deserves the pain of living longer than her child...the only thing that suicide will do is ensure that that woman will never have another happy day in her life. -
I agree that they should back off of him. Cause thats all they been talking about. Give the guy a break.
-
Boo hoo, IMO. I'm sorry that the guy is depressed, if that's really the case (he's obv denying it.) He needs help.
But, just 3 years ago everyone was talking about this guy as the 2nd coming of Christ. He's an NFL QB. He's going to be under the microscope. He needs to learn how to deal with the pressure or else GTFO. -
it's espn not the bull shit TMZ (everone of them needs to be taken out). anything this personal is not for the nation to know and be talked about over and over and over, it's disgusting. the only things they show non stop in a players life is when they go to jail, they die, or they want to die, way to show kids that watch the show (i watched espn all the time as a kid) what's goin on. they are meant to show games and highlights, not report 27 times that people think he wants to take his own life.
-
i agree one hundo percent Phi. Give the man some damn space!!!
-
so did you get that job w/ FOX sports yet phi?
-
It does seem kind of a low-rent, Mickey Mouse thing to do. But wait, isn't ESPN a subsidiary of Walt Disney Corporation? I guess they're staying true to their corporate mission....
-
I agree with you phi, its fucking classless. The guy is depressed and thinking of killing himself and espn is advertising it like a fucking commercial. The guy needs help, not made to look like a freak show.
-
This is so damn true, seriously.

Is it because he seems like a decent guy? Just wondering.
If this was some hollywood type (define as you will) the bulk of OT would have a betting pool on when the person would soooicide out, they wouldn't be cussing any single network or magazine covering it non-stop 24/7.
