Which Servers are you small business owners using?

    Just wanted to see which servers any of you may be using at the moment to run your business. Trying to get opinions on which ones are considered the best for e-commerce based businesses.

    We have a few racks of dell poweredge servers, and they have been great. I'd recomend configuring a 1850 or 2850 to fit your needs.

    We're using Datapipe, and since we upgraded on the 7th of this month or site performance has been great.

    I work in IT, managing firewalls all around the world. We only use Dell, typically pushing people onto the PowerEdge. You can get a cheap tower server on site for $500. Add an extra NIC and you'll be good to go. Sure beat ComCrap now.

    My site has a guy named Dorf who has some sort of grey box that makes our website work better. We give him free lessons and I buy him a beer at the bar sometimes. It seems to work ok and I can give you his number if you want.
