    real life is a lot better than online. i play some online. but games are only to 10pts in basic game and in person we usually play to like 13 which makes for more strategy.

    Fun game, played with Bubba and Adam some in Costa Rica.

    If you're looking for another excellent game, pick up Carcassone.

    I saw mrpaintball on there yesterday and tried getting in the game but it filled up before it could get in.

    I prefer online much more because you can get through a game in 15 minutes. I think trading is fine online I just hate the people who try and make a trade every single turn.

    def this playin with noobs is the worst but people who are vets are quick and see shit faster def is enjoyable

    Settlers is great. I just got my bro in law an expansion called Cities and Knights, only played it once but it's pretty sweet if you have already played settlers a bunch and want a change.

    I've played Carcassone once, it was pretty cool, I can see a lot of strategy in that game.

    I have the Seafarers expansion which is pretty cool. Haven't played any of the other expansions yet.

    Actually had two people get me the travel version for Christmas. One of them returned it and is getting me Dominion instean, another good game.

    Never played online, but def a great game to play live. Also have the seafarers addition, which is fun.

    Just recently got Catan Histories; Settlers of America for Christmas. This game is also a lot of fun, and is a nice change-up from the other Catan game. Would def recommend checking it out.

    thanks for the link. the friend getting it for me almost didn't because she is afraid i'll play too much and get better than her. I don't play online board games as much because of poker, but for the first few weeks after Black Friday I played a bunch of online Catan while I waited to get my poker situation back under control.
