Part 1. http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/16054
Part 2. http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/16055
Very good quality video but no sound when played in windows media player. You should have VLC player on your comp anyways. For ninjavideo noobs make sure you click this before you download or watch.

A bump to say this was an incredible movie, a must watch IMO
-
I watched this last night, and sadly, I fell asleep during it. Guess I'll try again tonight.
I also downloaded that Seann William Scott movie...Balls Out or something. Absolute waste of time, worst movie ever. -
Doesn't seem to be going over well with critics
-
I'm not sure how you fell asleep, maybe it's just me but I was into it the whole time. Critics suck I never listen to professional critics, regular joe sixpack critics I will listen to. Trust me give it a chance, it's a great movie.
-
people that insist on thinking watching movies at home on their computers or even big screen are the same as at the theatres with the same effects are sfdumb...dark knight was great to watch at home on dvd but nothing compared to at the theatres
-
Cool, thanks for the link, will pass out watching this NOW
-
It was 5am, but I will watch it again tonight.
-
This movie isn't exactly a shoot em up special effects type movie, guess I'm really dumb for watching it on my comp for free...
-
dammit, 31 minutes in and I already figured out how he's going to "save" these people. And once you figure that out, you kind of figure out the whole movie.
I haven't read any of the negative reviews yet, but I'm guessing "too predictable" may be one of the criticisms. -
WTF? when did you come back? and yeah pretty much the same for me but you didn't know why etc, still a great flick. I'm gonna go ahead and say it was the best all year.
-
Ohh hiiiiiiiiiiiiii

It was really predictable and got panned by critics and its the best you saw this year? How many movies did you see, 3?
-
jigggga whaaaaaaa!

Like I said, I could care less about what professional critics say, after all everyone has different taste, likes and dislikes. They watch movies differently then most of us "regulars". I like to enjoy my movies and get "lost" in them not obsess over every little detail. Besides this movie had some personal meaning to me. This year I saw a lot of movies and this was the best of them all IMO
-
ORLY????? These also have came out this year-

The Dark Knight<---way better
The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button<--havent seen it, but Im sure it will be better
Pineapple Express
Burn After Reading<---way better
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Frost/Nixon
You may think that 7pounds is better than a few of these movies, but LOL at all of them. -
Benjamin Button isn't out yet, and Seven Pounds probably is better than Pineapple Express, Burn After Reading and The Incredible Hulk (none of which were very good). I do highly doubt it's one of the best films of the year, so I guess what I'm saying is I dislike some of what's on your own list. Right now, my Top 5 looks something like:

1. Slumdog Millionaire
2. WALL-E
3. Milk
4. The Dark Knight
5. Me and Orson Welles
6. In Bruges
7. Iron Man
8. RocknRolla
There's still so SO much potential left for this year though, including:
Doubt
The Reader
Revolutionary Road
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Wrestler
Happy-Go-Lucky
Frost/Nixon
Hunger
Gran Torino
Etc Etc -
Seven Pounds looks incredibly bad imo, but looks do deceive and I havent seen the film. I'm beginning to hate Oscar bait Will Smith however
-
You have mistaken the point that the OP stated that 7pounds was THE best of the year, not ONE of the best. Im pretty sure I disproved his point. And lol at thinking "burnAfterreading" wasnt very good, you must not enjoy dark comedies, not including the acting was flawless.

Thanks for help -
I'm not sure what you did but click on the first link which will take you to ninjavideo.net. Then click the beta helper 3.3 thing until it says online. Then click download on the top left of the movie. Then click the second link and click on download. Keep the beta helper thing up until the movie finishes downloading.

I honestly fell asleep during The Dark Knight, I know boo me. I haven't seen Benjamin Buttons. Pineapple Express and Forgetting Sarah Marshall were funny as fuck but just totally different movies and this kinda hit home and let me get engaged in the movie not just smoke a bowl & laugh my ass off type movie. Iron Man was alright and I haven't seen the others. I really liked Hancock though. I enjoy more serious type movies anyways. Still stand by my statement.

Exactly, it looks Pursuit of Happyness bad to me.
-
Lol what? How can you like hancock and fall asleep through the dark knight......? You lost all credibility there.
-
I'm not sure it just happened
-
Ok, I just finished it. It is an excellent movie. As for the guy who tried comparing it to pineapple express (best movies of the year argument), that is simply laughable. Not to say that liking pineapple express is wrong, but, comparing two completely different genre's of cinema is the problem.
As for Bubba's list...I think we share the same appreciation for movies. I havn't seen all of them on your list, but they are the one's I look most forward to seeing.
Sidenote, regarding WALL-E....my girlfriend brought it home one night, and I was like "really?". I'm glad she did, it's a cute movie. -
same director ftl, but i guess i still might end up giving it a shot
Was In Bruges really that good? It seemed like it got pretty mixed reviews, but I've heard a lot of good things from ppl whose opinions I trust
Also, Rocknrolla? That's a surprise, how does it compare to Snatch or Lock, Stock..? -
I just finished it. While I won't agree with customflip that it was the best movie all year, I'm not going to say it was awful by any means. I enjoyed it.
On paper, it's a great story. We can all agree on that. The plot and idea behind it are A+++. But the execution kind of pissed me off. You can't have audiences knowing the outcome of the movie 30 minutes into it... not a movie that's supposed to have you wondering the main character's motive all the way until the end.
So here's what I didn't like:
****spoiler alert****
Why the hell would the movie allude to the automobile crash in the very beginning? The newspaper clip shows "Seven People Killed" in the opening credits. It makes it so easy to figure out. Here's how you do the math...
Ben Thomas has a dark history... must've killed seven people in an accident... talks to a blind guy... talks to a girl who needs a heart transplant... hmmm.
I guess he's going to commit suicide and donate his organs to save these people, thus making up for the seven people he killed. And you realize this in the first 1/4 of the movie!
The movie never should have mentioned anything about his past until the very end. By omitting this part, you have no idea what his intentions are, why he's so depressed, why he's going out of his way to help these people. By keeping it in, you know that he killed seven people (including his wife) and that he's somehow trying to make amends. The rest is simple addition from there.
Imagine how bad "The Sixth Sense" would've been if they kept giving hint after hint until it was painfully obvious that Bruce Willis was dead. How much would you have enjoyed the rest of the movie? Probably not much at all.
Also, they spent way too much time focusing on his relationship with the girl. I wanted to see more Woody Harrelson, more Barry Peppers... hell, more of the fat lady who worked at the welfare office. But they kept going back and back and back to Rosario Dawson. Harrelson and Peppers had a combined six scenes and 7 minutes of screen time. What a waste.
(btw, hey bubba and norcal) -
I'm glad you ended up liking WALL-E too. Such a great movie
