    Do you ever see someone you know and go in for the handshake and get stuck with a mix between some gangster-ish hand shake snap clap bullshit and a real handshake? Usually I'm decent at judging what type of handshake a person goes for but i feel like I'm losing it.. Even the people who i can normally count on for a straight up handshake are beginning to go for the handshake hug deal or come at me with some sort of karate chop form and i have no idea how to approach it. What type of handshake person are you?

    usually just straight up handshake if its a friend I havent seen in a while they get the manhug. On a sidenote I think its very relevant to talk about the prevalence of the manhug nowadays. Last 5 years or so it seems everyone does the manhug. Im guilty of it too not bashing it, I just think its funny how everyone does it now

    i hope to god the manhug is a trend. It should be reserved for deaths in the family/preparing a german suplex

    not sure which I can't stand more..... the gangster secret handshake or the wuss, wet dish rag grip handshake.

    I'd like to slap either for doing so.

    Yes, we all hate it/have it happen. It sucks. I laugh. If it's someone I know I punch them in the chest.

    i really think we're stuck in a transitional phase between the high five of the early 90s and a normal handshake.

    I had a couple of cousins younger than me that when in JH weren't shaking hands properly and I kinda head slapped em and straightened them out by showing them/telling them to shake hands like a man

    I enjoy the gangster handshake if done properly, but you can't go wrong with the fist bump.
