It seems that all the 9/11 truthers have a new ally. Ahmadinejad has proclaimed in a speech to the UN that 9/11 was an inside job. Now there is something the truthers can be proud of. They have the full support of one of the biggest wack jobs in the world lol. Congratulations.
Ahmadinejad raises 9/11 conspiracy theories
By LOUIS CHARBONNEAU, Reuters
UNITED NATIONS - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the United Nations Thursday most people believe the U.S. government was responsible for the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, prompting the U.S. delegation to leave in protest. In his speech to the General Assembly, Ahmadinejad said it was mostly U.S. government officials who believed a terrorist group was behind the suicide hijacking attacks that brought down New Yorks World Trade Center and hit the Pentagon.
Another theory, he said, was that some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime.
The majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree with this view, Ahmadinejad told the 192-nation assembly. The U.S. and several European delegations left shortly after Ahmadinejad made the remarks. -
His speech was hilarious since almost the whole place walked out on him. My friend who lives in Tehran wants this nut assassinated.

on the plus side, they apparently have the internet in iran!
hey Ahmakillajew, you know what helps the us economy, keeps us out of the middle east, and decreases supposrt for israel? having muslim extremists destroy the wtc etc. Or, you know, blaming them for it. make sense much? don't answer that, silly! loooool what a loon -
You still sticking with the "crazy Muslim" theory then, Saxman?
-
<---- Is a 9/11 truther.
That is all. -
I assure you Sax that there are also plenty of stupid, crazy assholes that think Al Qaeda did it.

"...prompting the U.S. delegation to leave in protest".
That'll teach him.
Also, Iran has no interest in any nuclear weapons and there is no homosexuality in Iran. -
I don't have any doubt that Al Queda "did it" but i'm not naive enough to believe they accomplished it without some help. The argument really should be was the help a result of incompetence or intentional enablement. We'll probably never know.

Another interesting story on Iran today ...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-11388018
One of the most sophisticated pieces of malware ever detected was probably targeting "high value" infrastructure in Iran, experts have told the BBC.
Stuxnet's complexity suggests it could only have been written by a "nation state", some researchers have claimed.
It is believed to be the first-known worm designed to target real-world infrastructure such as power stations, water plants and industrial units. -
My fav part of the conspiracy is the way the US tricked Osama into admitting that it was him. Oh the mind games!
-
I might not be giving the execution of 9/11/01 enough credit but I don't see it as extremely complex plan. The terrorists discovered that our airport security was weak, that passengers would comply, that crashing planes into high value targets would cause major damage.
The plan never should of occurred since they made multiple mistakes during the planning stage. But for our own intelligence failures the attacks were able to transpire. I think a major example of why a nation-state was not involved was that the terrorists took flying classes in the U. S.
It was an amazing plan for AL-Q but still rather simplistic at the same time.
