    As of recently I've had some problems at home, I live with my mom and we have another room that is rented out by an older alcoholic man. Sunday night my mom decided to put something on the car we share that she knew I wouldn't like, when I confronted her about it saying how I wouldn't drive the car the roommate snapped. He got in my face about how I'm the biggest piece of shit on earth and how I never do anything but sit on my computer. He then continued about how he was married and working when he was 18 (I'm 19) and that I should grow the fuck up. I'm currently in technical school and have been trying to find a job in the field but nothing has come up. We just got a free car from a friend of my aunts and planned to share it, so I didn't have transportation to any job until now.

    Anyways, I don't exactly have anywhere to go; I continue to get call after call from my mom now about how I'm the worst kid ever, and how I should treat her better, when all she does is sleep, work and drink.

    At the moment I have no job, no car, $600 to my name and no real work experience.

    What I am asking is what the best route to get out of here is? How should I begin to 'get on my feet'?

    I'm tired of being put down by some 50 year old alcoholic which lives in a bedroom smaller than most closets, I can't even say anything back with the threats of getting my ass kicked by this guy. It just feels the best thing to do is get out of here but I don't exactly have anywhere to go.

    I'm not looking for charity, just some words of wisdom or some kind of ideas to help me make this situation better. Thanks in advance.

    that is a tough situation man. unless you know for a fact that the guy would beat your ass, i would have punched him in the face.

    beyond that, you need to find a job asap that can support you. once you get a job, hopefully you can afford an apartment. but by all means GTFO of that situation immediately.

    you have $600, but a taser gun and shoot him with it. When he is incapacitated, duct tape his hands and feet together. Bring him back to conciousness with smelling salts, and make sure the first thing he see's when he wakes up is you hitting him in the face with a baseball bat. Proceed to pummel him with a bat untill he loses consiousness again. Take a break.

    Go back a couple hours later and wake him up with a bucket of ice cold water to the face. This time hit each of his toes with a hammer. He will probably lose conciousness after the 4th or 5th toe, so feel free to take your time.

    After this I'm sure he will leave you alone. Do what your mom says, but don't listen to anybody that fits the description of the guy you are talking about.

    lol im sure maybe 1 person would actualllyl follow through with 'beating his ass' etc. in this thread, tell your mom that if he hits you youre gonna defend yourself and seriously have a baseball bat and smash his knees first, thats self defense then you can call the cops and have the mofo shipped away to jail i speak my mind and thats why i have great relationship with moms, if your mom is giving you this problem, altho the car is petty since you have no other optino and shouldnt be so picky about somethin so petty, tell her you will treat her better etc. but youre her son and she shouldnt be siding with a 50y.o. drunk unless theyre fucking which i dunno anything about, so you both just talk about it and help each other make the situation better, sounds like otherwise id just gtfo there and find that job asap

    Thats a shitty situation man. Next time he says that shit about being married so early and working ask him for more advice becuse he looks like a life winner. Seriously keep your head about you and if you have to go find a union job somewhere where you can make enough to get out on your feet. If you must, find someone looking for a roomate and share an apartment. You can always fall back on the technical school once you get your feet under you.

    Right on, if he gets in your face then wait and break his leg with a bat or something, then proceed to absolutely destroy him. I'd get out ASAP, get any job you can, and just try and support yourself that way.

    Thinking this over, if you need the guys rent money, don't break his legs, etc. However if not, if he gets in your face again, put a sledgehammer through his teeth.
