sick again

    sick as hell again today. Nausea and vomiting and a few other symptoms I won't go into. This is 2 days in a row, and like the 4th or 5th time in the last few weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday, or rather my g/f dragged me there. She's pretty concerned. I guess I'm worried too. No one should be getting sick this much. It's not normal.
    So the doc examined me and did an x-ray on my stomach. They also want to refer me to a gastro-enterologist, probably for upper and lower g.i. and some other fun stuff. They seem to think I have a blockage, somewhere in one of my "passages", that is causing these problems. The doc says something is defintiely wrong, and mentioned several possible causes, from the not so serious to the very, very serious. I should know more in the next few days, but naturally I'm pretty concerned.
    I always kinda chuckle when I see people posting serious stuff about their health, love life, etc on this very public forum, and now here I am doing the same thing. Part of it is boredom, stuck here in bed all day with no one to talk to. Or maybe I just want sympathy, but if thats the case why in the hell would I come here? LOL Or maybe I just wanted to write it out. There are a few cool people here that I like and just wanted to tell you whats going on. I know I'm rambling now... the meds I took a while ago must be taking effect.
    Anyways, thats it for now. Flame away if you like.. I'm sure some will. I don't care. Hopefully some others will chime in who have had these procedures done, and tell me what I can expect.

    Ok, definitely stay in touch with the gastro doc, keep plenty of gatorade and such around.

    Dude if they do a Colonospy thingy .. they will stick a long metal tupe with a camara up your Taint and all into you belly ,and then they punch thru something down there that Fucking hurts like hell for a split second..

    they also do this thing where they put a ballon into your taint and fill it with liquid and then take Xrays .. You will feel like your prego yo .. and that sucks to .. then you gewt to Shyt oput the liquid in the balloon ..lol it is great fun when you have belly issues ..

    If they try to tell you its IBS .. tell them to STFU and GTFO .. and get second and thrid Oppinion's yo ..

    I have the same symptoms, it sucks. I don't have the flu/stomach flu but it feels similar.

    I didn't miss a day of work (illness) for over 3 years and now I've missed six days in the five weeks. Came to work yesterday morning feeling like shit, puked and went home within five minutes of being here.

    I went in this morning long enough to tell my boss what was going on. I was there about 20 minutes and got sick twice, including once in the trashcan right by the boss's desk Embarrasing, but also kinda funny. Wish I could've seen his face, but of course I was busy.
