    the other 3 games were boring, so they can GTFO

    you aint kidding that the Devils game was boring.

    but there were 27 shots in the second period and Martin Brodeur made another open-net-back-hand-glove save. he also made a save with his crotch too.

    Was being sarcastic... but unless your from Canada, I dont think people really give two shits about hockey anymore.... Pretty sure ESPN shows bowling highlights ahead of the NHL highlights now.....

    I thought only DW still found it funny to bash hockey?

    Depending on how long the kid is out this will open up that MVP race again. I think with Crosby, Heatly, and now Alffredson out that Lecavalier has to be the front runner as of now. I'd put Luongo in that race too, and I really think Datsyuk should have his name thrown in there for consideration the way hes been going, especially from when Zetterberg went down. Obviously thats a homer bias, but I really do think he deserves consideration. I'm sure there are plenty of guys I'm forgetting about, this is by no means a finalized list.

    how can you forget Iginla the most obv choice, I had him as the mvp before crosby went down and I dont think ccrosby was the mvp anyways

    LeCavalier for Tampa Bay is having a big season too, has been leading the scoring race most of the year. IMO he'd have to be the front runner now.

    if you play on a last place team you should automatically be disqualified for MVP

    I'm not saying he isnt a great player having a great year, but thats just how i feel.

    I totally forgot about Iginla when writing that, no doubt he deserves to be in consideration. As for the last place thing, I normally would agree but that division is so bad that Tampa Bay still has a legitimate shot at winning it. Along with every team in that division. But yeah, total brain fart about Iginla.

    Malkin had a very good game tonight. I only caught the third period but the announcers did nothing but praise him for the entire game. That team will be so sick if they can keep that talent together within the cap. The amount of young talent they have is absurd.
