  1. A woman taken into custody at DFW Airport Wednesday morning has been released, just hours after she slipped past a security checkpoint with a gun in her bag.

Oh yeah I forgot it was in there... Pretty casual.

  2. It's ok for an American woman to carry a gun into the airport, just not a middle-eastern man with terrorist tendencies. Ty, I will be here the rest of the afternoon.
  3. I like how the TSA blames her for leaving security before they had a chance to search her bag. Had they been doing their job as intended, the woman would never have been allowed to place a hand on her purse before further screening was done. I just cannot believe her story of she forgot the gun was in there. Is carrying guns in a purse so common that people just forget it is there?

For a woman that often carries it probably is common enough for her to have it in her purse that it could be forgotten. I'm assuming this was a larger purse full of junk where it could easily be missed if you weren't looking for it.

Well, it WAS just an itty bitty gun. Not like it was a .45 or something . . .
  7. "She didn't finish the screening process"

Pretty sure that once your bag clears the conveyor belt you can't be blamed for taking your bag and walking away.
  8. Seems like a pretty dangerous thing to allow, idiots to carry guns. Forgetting where you have stored a firearm, should be grounds for any permit, or permission to carry/own such to be revoked.

It's pretty common down here, but not that common.
  10. Split you have to remember its the good ole USA, they are allowed to carry guns and we don't see any gun lovers really up here in Vancouver but I guarantee you it is incredibly common women carrying guns around in their purses and they forget that it is there.
  11. Pfft . . . it's TEXAS, man. Can't walk to the Piggly Wiggly without tripping over some .38 that some goober left on the roof of the truck before driving off.
