  6. As of yesterday Sonnen had to cut 20lbs to make 185 today, tho he is on the Dolce Diet and Mike Dolce said the lbs will shed pretty easy and he wont have to starve or sit in a sauna all day.
  7. If you can get action on this lasting three rounds or more, I would book it. Silva is going to PUNISH sonnen, before he administers the coup de grace.
  8. so.fucking.pumped
  9. Chael gets knocked out grappling or over extending for a td.

    What do I win?

  10. I predict we should watch this somewhere ders?
  11. Lock up a spot at palazzo

  12. What's that going to run? I'm not balling like you. You might be the most ballingest baller I know

a 'couch' has been a $200 minimum tab in the past. not sure for this fight. wouldn't want to wait until tomorrow to reserve it either. last time I did this they didn't 'enforce' the min tab either.

  14. sonnen for the sake of the smack talk that will ensue
  15. The boys and I were discussing the epic Sonnen-ness that would follow a win by Chael P. I believe it would start with the new Champ showing up at the post fight presser in a Ric Flair-like robe and aviator glasses. I dearly hope that he uses the Nature Boy's entrance music tomorrow night. It would just be totally EPIC.
  16. Anderson gave him a little pop in the mouth with his shoulder. Sonnen is definitely in his head. Don't know if that is a good or bad thing.

  17. I hope Sonnen breaks his jaw so he will shut up for a while.
  18. Anderson by murder
  19. Rickson by armbar.

  20. sick weigh ins. Id suggest going to ufc.com to check out the silva sonnen stare down

  21. I predict I'll be drunk, playing poker with friends, and watching sonnen ship it.
  22. odds are sweet for sonnen/ortix. and korean zombie. and I didn't steal that from espn, they just happen to agree. as for predictions? meh idk, same I guess. unless sonnen really has gotten to silva and he comes out beastmode. he got his ass kicked last time (til the end obv lol)tho so i dunno
  23. not sure how anyone could want sonnen to win. guy is a jerk whose reality is distorted. he's the 11 loss legend lol. There is no way anderson took that first fight as seriously as he should or came in with an opponent specific plan of attack. though i had heard he purposely allowed sonnen to take him down because sonnen had criticized the noguera bros who gave silva his blackbelt so he wanted to submit chael to prove a point. seems like total bs, but if true is pretty hilarious and gangster

considering anderson's body of work, I have no idea how anyone can pick chael to win this fight, regardless of how dominant he was in the first. he barely passed the bisping test

korean zombie not on this card
  25. Looked like the arena was full just for the fucking weigh ins. Atmosphere is gonna be sick there tomorrow night and I cant fucking wait to watch.
  26. yeah, one thing I will give sonnen credit for is making this fight seem like the most important ever. If he had not acted like a bafoon the last 2 years, this fight would be a meh fight.

i hope for sonnen's sake he gets enough trt to justify his john holmes comments

I think Chael's bitten off a little more than he can chew and is starting to realize it. Or the guy is just super locked in and focused. I'm leaning towards the former.

  28. i believe that too.. i dont think hes scared or nothing, however i really think it has to be in the back of your mind that as successful as he was last fight, he still lost. i think thats the same way maynard lost the second fight as well, although def different scenario..plus if he really has to lose 20 lbs, maybe that hurts him some who knows.. obv he is a wrestler and used to the cuts but i just cant think thats good. Silva is going to be all in on this fight and its gonna show.

as far as downbylaws, statement i just dont agree. this fight was always going to be hugely anticipated just because the greatest fighter in UFC history has never once even really faced adversity and he just got pummeled for the majority of a match 2 years ago but still came out on top.. brazilian vs american.. this fight was bound to sell regardless which is why im so pissed they couldnt find a way to put it in brazil.. even if you delay the days.. that fight.. waderlei vs rich, rua vs rampage.. give me some of that card please
  29. Just read this...pretty terrible

  30. book the Silva by murder NOW!

    the line will get worse!

Jesus...Silva was injured last time with torn cartilidge in his ribs, He tried to back out of the fight last time. he couldn't breath and was very passive. he will break limbs this time!
